Do people actually walk up to Lady Gaga and call her “a man”? And do those same people, who manage to get close to the pop diva, also bother calling friend Adam Lambert “a flaming faggot”?
Yes, if you believe the muckrakers at the National Enquirer (which, right now, we really want to). The tabloid reports The GaGa was partying at an Ottawa club after a concert in late sNovember when a man approached her and shouted, “I saw you and Adam Lambert on the AMA show, and the guy’s a flaming fa**ot — and I also think that you’re actually a MAN!”
She responds: “Well, that’s your opinion, isn’t it? And I’m not about to waste my time trying to change it.” But he wasn’t done yet!: “Well, don’t you care that you’re both going to HELL!” And then she was all: “No…not as long as I don’t have to see YOUR face there!” And he spat back: “WELL, YOU’RE A FREAK…AND SO IS HE!” And Gags then went: “Okay, that’s it! Call ME anything you want, but when you start calling my friends names, it’s OVER — it’s WAR!”
And that’s when Gaga, supposedly, poured a glass of wine on the guys’ head and left.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Who knows how much truth is in this story, but we like to believe it happened exactly as reported. Or, at the very least, Lady Gaga would react exactly this way given the hypothetical.

I like her even more.

The ‘man’ who approached Lady Gaga to spew his slimey hatred is already in process of losing his humanity. Most people were taught what to believe, think, feel, say, & do, as children. That is exactly what they believe think feel say and do as adults. But others actually evolve. Think, THINK, for themselves, honor their own emotions, their own minds. Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert are two of the evolving humanity. Fearless honesty.OMG! Can any of us ever be that brave.

GaGa’s & Lambert’s fans are all having a melt down right now calling her a hero. At least there is some enterainment value in that. If anyone believes any of the crap that is reported by that rag then I have some primo real estate for sale. This is the same piece of crap that in the past reported GaGa was really a man and Lambert yelled at a fan for smudging his nail polish. They print something really stupid and every publication keeps spreading the trash until people actually believe it.
romeo
Some years ago The Enquirer got in major trouble in a lawsuit, and, supposedly ever since they’ve made more of an effort than other tabloids to verify their stories before publishing. They’re still a blood sucking rag but maybe more accurate. The story doesn’t sound too far-fetched.
Go GaGa !
Josh
Well the National Enquirer was right about John Edwards affair so who knows.
Carlton W
Romeo,
I have some nice real estate for you. It’s right off of San Franscisco. Some people call it the Rock. It’s primo. No one is living there now. I’ll sell it to you for a steal.. (all said in jest my friend).
mike
HA!!!! I CALL Adam Lambert a Faggot nobody in the whole world cares about that fool
romeo
@Mike: Adam has lots of people that care about him. You’re the one that nobody in the whole world cares about.
romeo
@ CarltonW: I would love to buy Alcatraz. I’ve always wanted it. But I’m a little short on cash because I bought the Brooklyn Bridge from a guy a few years ago when I lived in New York. Seriously, I’ll see if I can flip it and then I’ll get back to you.
JR
@ Romeo… Could you please convert it into a bath house and call it ‘Malecatraz’??? Think it would be HOT! Those cells would make the perfect little lock-down play pens! Otherwise I don’t care what someone in Ottawa said about who… and why doesn’t Diva Ga Ga have a bodyguard to toss people like that on their ear?
Carlton W
@Romeo…Lol Glad to see you have a good sense of humor.
Martha
The article mentions that the hater called Adam a freak… but your article uses a more offensive and nasty word… Why????
romeo
@ JR #10, another sex club in SF? Slightly redundant don’t you think? LOL
@ Martha: Probably Queerty was in a hurry, and that’s just as likely a word that a hater would use. Glad to see you understand the “f” word is offensive though. @ Queerty, when are you going to hire one of us to proofread? We’ve been ragging you for months about it.

@carlton W, I see your point, but I’m a fan of both Lady GaGa and Adam, and I’m not having a meltdown. I didn’t have a TV camera up there, so I don’t really know for sure what happened in Ottawa, but the National Enquirer may have reported the story correctly, because fans who were there confirmed most of it. The Enquirer has been surprisingly accurate these days, and even breaks major stories that the mainstream media doesn’t have the guts to: John Edwards getting his mistress pregnant, for example. As for Lady GaGa being a man, that is not really true, but she has admitted having “a poon and a peener; it’s just a little penis”, so maybe she might be a hermaphrodite.
As far as Lady GaGa, she is not afraid to take courageous stands, including standing up for gay people when professionally, she would be better off not to. She has more sincerity and guts than a lot of str8 guys. Much the same could be said for Adam.
James
@Dasher:
Sorry to be the politically-correct-police, but “hermaphrodite” is a derogatory word.
I’m sure you didn’t mean to be offensive, most people don’t know the correct terminology to use. I don’t mean to single you out, rather to use this as a chance to let everyone here know the sensitive nature of that word, and better alternatives. 🙂
People who have ambiguous genitalia (or sex organs that do not fit neatly into the binary of male/female or XX/XY), are better referred to as people with an intersex condition, multiply gendered, or gender variant — the last two of which can also mean various shades of trans/androgynous/genderqueer people, so beware.
The safest term to use (unless you know what label the person prefers themselves) is generally just “intersex”. However, as with other labels, it’s best not to use as a noun. “She is an intersex woman (or “person” if the individual does not use gendered labels)” not “She is an intersex”. Just like “He is a gay man” not “He is a gay”.
And yes, GaGa has discussed her ambiguous genitalia before, and said:
“Its not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female. Its just a little bit of a penis and really doesn’t interfere much with my life. the reason I haven’t talked about it is that its not a big deal to me. Like come on. its not like we all go around talking about our vags. I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot. I have both a poon and a peener. Big f***ing deal.”
Anyhow, thanks everyone for letting me clear that up, back to your regularly scheduled commenting! 🙂
Dasher
@James. Sorry, my bad. I meant to conclude that, since she says she has both a poon and a peener (and the peener is visible in one of her concert videos), “it would appear that she has both a poon and a peener”.
James
@Dasher:
I wasn’t offended that you used the word, I was just trying to politely give you a different word to use next time (intersex person rather than hermaphrodite). I could tell that the tone of your comment was very positive and so I wasn’t taking issue with it, I just saw an opportunity to let people know a better way of phrasing that sort of thing in the future. 🙂
Yes, I went to town and explained the whole nine yards instead of just saying “don’t say hermaphrodite” but I was hoping that the added information would be beneficial to anyone else out there reading who might wonder about the topic.
I really didn’t mean to put you on the spot, or suggest that you couldn’t differentiate. I absolutely am not trying to be hostile or anything — just trying to be helpful, honest. I apologize if I came off as too pushy. 🙂
Dasher
@James. No problem. Somebody’s got to wake me up once in a while…:)
I sometimes think that Lady GaGa and Adam Lambert, because of their celebrity and sincerity and their obvious ability to be at ease with who they are, provide a powerful positive example for kids today. Not just gay teens and tweens, but all kids. And they send the message that it’s OK to be a little weird or a little different, because everything will get sorted out in the long run. And that being different can be a positive force. These messages will go a long way to help kids victimized by demands for conformity, and send a stagnant culture in a better direction. GaGa and Adam are the real agents of change.

I don’t know how human rights “work” in the US, but the Canadian response, I believe, is to ask the manager to remove any person who breaches the human rights code in any place involving employment, housing or the provision of any service, such as a club. I think it’s more effective to have someone kicked out rather than actually deal with them. If the club owner fails to act, then they are liable to be the recipient of a complaint that they breached the human rights code and the establishment could be hit with an order to pay hefty damages. Bigots quickly get the message and curb their bullying behaviour.
Wicked Glitter
@ Lisa, I think it could be hard to prove that someone broke the human rights code unless there was a third, unbiased party present. If it can be proven that someone has breached that code, I think they should be removed, or fined, or both. One way to prove that this code has been broken is to just look up above and read the title of this article. I think this site should be fined for using discriminatory words. I believe in freedom of speech, and am totally against censorship, but to use the term faggot is very offensive. What really bothers me is that it is being used to attract more readers to this site. Even worse is the fact that this story probably isn’t even true, and has no reliable source. If it could be proven to be true then that term would be appropriate because the journalist is reporting what happened. This is just muckraking, yellow journalism.

I respect her more for this..
BlindMellowJelly
I would rather she had pulled out a 38 and ended the piece of trash’s night. But since that didn’t happen I’m glad she washed the nasty pigs head with wine. Sounds like one of Rev Phelps hell bound children.
romeo
Ugh, girls, Ottawa is in Canada isn’t it? And apparently these events have been confirmed by independent sources. Looks like America isn’t the only homophobic shithole in the world. LOL But at least you’ve got fines for it.
Jay
I can’t stand all you hippy fagots. If it was up to me, the US would be cleansing you, along with the middle east
james_cambridge
@ Jay: And what kind of “straight” fellow spends so much time on a gay website, constantly changing his name and trying to provoke as much as possible? Someone who’s not so “straight” would be my guess. Hopefully you’re just some idiot kid trying to get attention because if you’re actually an adult, you’re doomed to a life of stupidity and hate and gay sex in airport bathrooms.
Gaga & Lambfag hater
They both suck. They should 69 each other and swallow each other’s loads. Then swallow some kerosene then eat some tinder rocks and jump on a trampoline.
They can have their own bad romance for each other. Fuckin’ tools, all of you.
Gaga & Lambfag hater
I like men btw. :]
BW
A pecked face faggot and a douche bag. When did they get opinions?
BW
BTW America creates this garbage. You buy the albums and go to the concerts. No wonder you are self destructing
Vix
@Mike: You’re the faggot nobody cares about.
@Gaga and Lambfag hater: You obviously are just a douche who doesn’t see true talent. Gaga… I’m a fan, but not as big as Adam. Adam is AMAZING at what he does. Have you heard his voice with absolutely no music, no piano no nothing? It’s like an ANGEL. He has some real fucking talent, and you, obviously, are just blinded by the fact he is gay. SO FUCKING WHAT.
Canada Sucks (for the most part)
@Lisa: Lisa: Here in the United States (aka best country on the planet), we have something called “the Constitution” which allows us to speak freely (for the most part)and call others freaks and fags if we choose to. We call it “freedom of speach” like for instance when I refer to you as a backwards lazy Canadian who works just had enough to get your wages and healthcare but who will never be the next Bill Gates because there is no incentive for you to do anything great, EH?? It has nothing to do with “human rights”. That being said, it’s not nice to call people FAGGOTS, but sometimes the best way not to be called a FAG is not to act like one. (see you can’t say that because you will be in breach of your little honor code). Silly FUCKING Canadians.
