Back in 2014, everyone went crazy for Jeremy Meeks after his mugshot on the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page went viral, raking in over 101K likes.

Overnight, his smoldering good looks turned him into a quasi-folk hero, despite a lengthy rap sheet spanning a decade that includes weapons and “street terrorism” charges, as well as participation in a 2002 robbery in which he allegedly beat a 16-year-old “to a pulp.”

In 2007, he was charged with identity theft, resisting arrest, and trying to steal a package of pellets from a sporting goods store.

Now, in 2017, the 33-year-old is… charging the runways of New York?

Meeks was seen strutting his stuff at the Philipp Plein show for New York Fashion Week on Monday night, in front of an audience that included Paris Hilton, Madonna, Young Thug, and gibbering fame-gremlin Kylie Jenner.

The look is vaguely “regional summer stock production of The Matrix”:

He even grabbed a photo opportunity with Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, because that is the world in which we now live:

It was great meeting you and your team @carineroitfeld I so look forward to seeing you soon.
