Jeremy Meeks (a.k.a. “Hot Felon”, “The Mugshot Guy”) makes his NY Fashion Week debut

Thanks for all the love #Blessed

Back in 2014, everyone went crazy for Jeremy Meeks after his mugshot on the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page went viral, raking in over 101K likes.

Overnight, his smoldering good looks turned him into a quasi-folk hero, despite a lengthy rap sheet spanning a decade that includes weapons and “street terrorism” charges, as well as participation in a 2002 robbery in which he allegedly beat a 16-year-old “to a pulp.”

In 2007, he was charged with identity theft, resisting arrest, and trying to steal a package of pellets from a sporting goods store.

Now, in 2017, the 33-year-old is… charging the runways of New York?

Meeks was seen strutting his stuff at the Philipp Plein show for New York Fashion Week on Monday night, in front of an audience that included Paris Hilton, Madonna, Young Thug, and gibbering fame-gremlin Kylie Jenner.

The look is vaguely “regional summer stock production of The Matrix”:

He even grabbed a photo opportunity with Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, because that is the world in which we now live:

It was great meeting you and your team @carineroitfeld I so look forward to seeing you soon.

  • blackhawkdave

the guy is creepy and ugly as f—-

    • miserylovedme24

Yeah I don’t get it. I have never found this guy the least bit attractive.

    • ChrisK

He had model cheekbones and full lips. The tear drop tattoo gives him a bad boy edge which women love. If you look at his other pics though he just comes off creepy and unattractive like you say.

Also, he’s now living in a mansion and driving an expensive luxury car. All on credit of coarse. Like others say about the countdown.

Kinda sad and depressing but entirely expected indictment on society and its *actual* values as opposed to those it speciously pays lip service to. But yeah he’s very good looking.

  • Roan

I remember this, but I recall at the time it was proven that the huge dic*k wasn’t his.

  • crowebobby

His ten years of serious violent crime were obviously society’s fault, so we don’t have to worry about him overreacting and beating someone half to death the first time he feels “disrespected.” But, yes, everyone does deserve another chance so we’ll just have to wait and see . . . as we did with Jack Abbott.

    • mawbinatl

The Jack Abbott comment aside, I agree with you about everyone deserving another chance. Hopefully, he’s more mature now than when he committed those crimes and realizes that prison is not the place for him.

There have been other criminals who have made a complete change. Charles S. Dutton, most notably, did a complete 180 and turned his life around after committing manslaughter becoming an award winning television and Broadway actor, director and writer.

We shall see how Mr. Meeks either does well or does not do well trying to adjust to the life outside.

  • IDoNotHaveToAgreeWithYou

When he rapes and kills one of the female models don’t act surprised. You got him out of jail after all.

    • dwes09

And who exactly is this “you” you refer to? Try reality someday, you might find it less fearful and horrifying than the regressive myth-world you live in.

No ill respect meant, but you are a twit.

    • IDoNotHaveToAgreeWithYou

The fools that hired a ghetto thug to be a model that just got out of jail. Any more stupid whiny little social justice warrior questions?

  • Billy Budd

I am a liberal. I believe in people reforming. I believe in second chances. Even for former demons like this good looking guy.

  • Kangol

He’s one of many ex-cons running around, so better than he earn money and pay his own way than live off the public dime, no? And he’s quite handsome. I wonder if he’s on Tyler Perry’s radar yet?

  • jhon_siders

he is really not that good looking the ink looks ghetto did little back ground on him his most serious conviction was for beating a 16 YO girl leaving her for dead .

    • mhoffman953

      That’s classy. Let’s give this gang-banger a lucrative modeling contract then :-(

It would be one thing if he made an effort to turn his own life around but he actually didn’t. Some fashion company noticed his face went viral and wanted to bank on it, thus making him famous and temporarily “rich”, for lack of a better term.

I hope not, but I have a feeling when his 15 minutes of fame are over, he’ll get back into crime

  • Mo Bro

    Countdown to his next arrest in 10 . . . 9 . . . 8 . . . 7 . . . 6 . . .

    • dwes09

Yeah, all those negros are criminal in nature aren’t they.
You idiot! Go hang out on Breitbart where your kind belongs. Negative, hateful, full of stereotype, racist scum (yup, white boy, you are racist).

The reality is that perhaps period free of economic stress will encourage enfranchisement and emotional maturity. I know that runs counter to your notion of all people of color as savages, but reality does not bend to your sick world view.

Now go crawl back under your rock.

    • JessPH

dwes09. the guy is a repeat offender. He has committed several crimes before and is obviously not remorseful of any misdeed he has done. He is mentally disturbed. He is a certified sociopath.

    • mhoffman953

@dwes09 Um…who said anything about race?

    • Mo Bro

Like most liberals, dwes09 is obsessed with race. Everything in his world is seen through a prism of black/white/other. He thinks I’ve lied about the fact that I’m biracial, he thinks I’ve lied about being bisexual, and he thinks I’m an angry straight white racist who wishes harm upon anyone of color. Like most of the unhinged left whose arguments have been disproven, he’s completely abandoned principles of policy in favor of name-calling because that’s all he knows.

    • IDoNotHaveToAgreeWithYou

Hey dwes09 you ever notice how the cops on the news already have a booking photo the the negroes they are looking for?

  • alkibiades

with some of these comments countdowning, predicting, remembering etc. about Jeremy Meeks, are not we somehow facilitating his relapse? Is this the proper attitude to greeet someone who is leaving jail? Entitled though we are to our own expectations, we must ask ourselves, individually, if such negative reactions are rather signs of envy, lack of generosity or whatever. Thanks

    • IDoNotHaveToAgreeWithYou

Oh yeah blame us for this latest in a life long string of crimes.

  • Prax07

Look at his eyes, he’s completely dead inside. I’ve seen this in my ex’s eyes as well. He’s a narcissist, a user, and a criminal. Only other time I’ve seen eyes like this are on hardened criminals and murderers…Yet this guy is being praised for his looks and dead, soulless eyes? Gross.

  • jasentylar

This thread proves that even the gays are susceptible to bigotry and hate…from each other. All the infighting. Do Trump and Pence’s work for them.

  • JessPH

Repeat offenders like this lowlife should be incarcerated for a longer period of time.
