K-Pop: 2AM's Jo Kwon Drags Up For Vogue Magazine

Jo Kwon, one-fourth of the Korean pop band 2AM, is featured in drag for the newest edition of Vogue Korea.

The photos have come just as Kwon gets ready to take the South Korean stage in the role of ‘Adam’ from the legendary musical ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’. ‘Priscilla’ “tells the story of two drag queens and a transexual who try to find love, family and ego.” According to the Korea Herald, Kwon claims that his role will be the sexiest role in the show.

While these photos aren’t exactly the level of drag you might see on RuPaul’s Drag Race, these type of images are a huge surprise coming out of South Korea, seeing as this conservative country, for the most part, still considers homosexuality an “American disease”.
