Well, this is from the gay who had a lot of objections about Call me by your name because the two main characters were white (no matter if they were white too in the novel) so i don’t expect something brilliant from him. He only wants people to talk about him, nothing more

@jjose712 I mean, he specifically mentions his issue first and foremost is the large age gap of the two main characters but go off sis. His other, lesser issue is more of a general thing where yet another LGBT love story is centered on white men when the community isn’t just white men.

That movie is based on a novel, and there’s no reason to change the race of the characters. He suggested that the story could be about black lesbian girls or something like that, which is something stupid because that wouldn’t be the same movie.
There are a lot of films with non white gay characters, the truth is most movies with gay characters (white or not) are not mainstream successes.
And the age difference is ridiculous, one character is 17 the other is 24

Come on — be a role model and not Drama Queens. If you and Antoni can’t get along, then leave the show and allow two mature individuals to replace you. There doesn’t seem to be any point to this, other than you and Antoni not being able to stand each other. Because of the normalcy in contemporary America to diminish equality, these petty tiffs only uplift arguments for those, who seek to push the LGBTQ+ community back quite a few decades. It’s time to grow up and act like big boys — talk out whatever your issues might be — and kiss and makeup. Honestly, it feels like a kindergarten squabble — of course, I probably shouldn’t put down kindergartners because they are more advanced in their conflict resolution practices than either you or Antoni.

Ya know what? I looked at this as such a NON story; but still newsworthy and gossipy enough to read; but not comment on. Though this is kind of a negative story, I will say that despite the absolutely horrendous and idiotic comments I see sometimes, there’s only on A-hole who decided to take a side in a conflict that NONE of us really know enough about based on the facts of this story to justify taking a side.
We’re getting better despite what anyone says and we’re getting smarter and more B.S. averse. Maybe not the writers; but those who read this stuff; I have high hopes for ya.

If you read the original story on E! Online (link is above), Karamo and Antoni worked out their differences when they realized their conflict was caused by a toxic third party stirring up trouble. This article is misleading at best.
