A masseur from Allentown, PA was just slapped with three years of probation after sexually assaulting a male client.
39-year-old Christopher Atanazy was employed as a masseur at a spa called Kneading Hands when his 18-year-old victim came in for a massage last September.
According to the victim, when he arrived for his massage, Atanazy introduced himself and said he would be conducting the session. The victim requested that he concentrate mainly on his legs and calves.
During the session, however, the victim says Atanazy slowly crept up his legs and towards his crotch. He eventually pulled out the young man’s penis from his boxer shorts. The victim froze, later telling police he was in “shock, scared and had no idea what to do.”
Soon Atanazy began performing oral sex on him. And that’s when the young man jumped up, put his clothes back on, and bolted for the door. He then called both a family member and police.
In the police report, the victim said “he didn’t want this incident to happen and never gave permission” for Atanazy to touch him anywhere other than his legs and calves.
Police say Atanazy admitted to the sexual assault, though court records indicate that the counts of indecent assault and sexual assault were both withdrawn this week. Instead, he was charged with open lewdness and simple assault.
In addition to being placed on probation, Atanazy was banned from ever working as a masseur again. He was also ordered undergo random drug testing, to pay a $500 fine, and to refrain from making any contact with the victim.
