Maybe Obama’s HIV Townhalls Will Go Better Than His Healthcare Ones?


The White House just announced something called the National HIV/AIDS Community Discussions, described as “a series of events to be held across the country […that] will offer the public a chance to provide input as the White House works to fulfill the President’s pledge to develop a National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS).” Programmed by the White House Office of National AIDS Policy, the first event kicks off Aug. 25 in Atlanta — and is clearly an effort for Obama to steal George W. Bush’s only worthwhile legacy.
