Last week, NFL free agent Ryan Russell came out as bisexual in a candid essay for ESPN. At the same time, he introduced the world to his boyfriend, Los Angeles-based dancer Corey O’Brien. The two have just launched their own YouTube channel.

I just hope that he’s good and can’t be sidelined because his sexuality is a “distraction” according to owners. It is an especially awful discriminatory tactic considering the number of players who assault or rape women and remain tolerated, and even celebrated, by the League.
