When I tweeted recently that my co-hosts and I were making plans to load up the Swish Edition RV to attend the 2,000+ gay and lesbian Camp 2011, I unintentionally alerted RV enthusiasts coast-to-coast, who retweeted my post, wanting to know exactly where these thousands of gay dudes would be…and when. Middle-American campers everywhere wanted to know because I didn’t post the location initially.
It wasn’t clear whether they wanted to make sure to keep their kids away or to join in the fun. The plan was to descend on a primarily gay campground in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, but they didn’t need to know that. This was kinda fun. I thought I’d let ’em sweat it out a little.
The outdoor circuit festival, Camp 2011, features the likes of porn star Brent Everett and DJ Escape, takes place August 19-22 at the Woods Campground in Lehighton, PA. This won’t be your kid brother’s band camp.

I can’t imagine what 2000 people at The Woods would be like, It’s not that big of a place. I camped there 3 weeks ago and had a great time. I just hope it’s not too crazy or destructive to the place.

@SC, I have and the results were a lot of the local wild life died from injesting lube bottles and used condoms. Might be ground zero for a STD or two.
