It’s always fun finding out which mega-celebrities are closeted fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race. From Glee‘s Amber C. Reilly to Beverly Hills Housewife Camille Grammar to Latoya Jackson, is there anyone on this Earth that isn’t a fan of the greatest show on television?
Apparently not.
Rap Barbie Nicki Minaj is the latest to start her engine, so to speak, by announcing her favorite Drag Race contestants last night on Twitter. Though she thinks Roxxxy Andrews “came IN fierce”, she can’t decide between Jinkx Monsoon and Alaska Thunderfuck for the win. (Hopefully she has better luck picking an American Idol winner).
But when it came to the acting this week, I had to admit jinx and alaska did THAT! They’re also nice ppl. So idk…its tough to decide

She also misses Coco Montrese and Alyssa Edwards, but honestly, WHO DOESN’T?
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
But I miss the coco/alyssa drama. Those 2 were my faves. Cunty and shady hunty YASSS!!!!!!

Does this mean Nicki Minaj will accept an invitation to guest judge an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6? Logo TV would be insane not to extend an invite after this!

Does anybody else find their computer incapacitated by the Stoli ads? (Mac running OS X here.) When they’re up I can’t scroll, and nothing is clickable. I emailed Queerty to let them know about this, oh, three or four days ago, and thoughtfully they haven’t done anything about it or replied.

@RomanHans: This site has ads?
I’ve run a host list block for so long I’ve forgot how infuriating it is to surf without them not being there.

Also anyone on any other browser should follow the link and it will redirect.

I’d also recommend any Chrome/Firefox users install “Ghostery”, a fantastic opt out of all analytic and indexing sites. Makes the net a good 20% faster. Also without the targeted fuckballs.

@2eo: Omg, im using adblock now and queerty loads automatically, when before it was freezing.

I don’t feel right blocking ads, but it’s understandable if they are literally making it impossible to use the site.
As for Nicki Minaj, I’d love to see her judge on RuPaul. Actually, I’d love to see RuPaul at all, but my cable company doesn’t carry it on the basic lineup unless you live in the city. Very annoying. I’m reduced to using the web site or watching past seasons on Netflix.

@Merv: Queerty made more money from their documenting of the Beyonce tour for their PR company than the entire running costs of the site for the year.
They also run articles that are essentially ads for Rupaul’s drag race among others. The money they make through advertising is simply greed, it is NOT needed in any capacity, this isn’t Truthout or Alternet.
