Hawaii Senate Says YES To Civil Unions, All But Guaranteeing Passage

Yesterday in a 19-6 vote, Hawaii’s State Senate approved a civil unions bill — sending it to the House, which last year approved the bill, only to see it vetoed by Gov. Linda Lingle. Of course the new governor, Neil Abercrombie, says he wants the bill and he’ll sign one if it hits his desk.

@justiceontherocks: sir, my people are poor we have no silver or gold, but my father passed down to me 2 head of cattle,
      and 1 dick of elephant.

are you able accept my humble gift?

@divkid: No need to be humble if you have an elephant dick. I’ll see you at the Koa Kea Hotel on Kauai, to be followed by a honeymoon that will last until I can’t walk any longer . . .
