Kevin Zegers Goes Queer While Kellan Lutz Is A Straight Dude In A Homo World
Two up-and-coming actors have signed on for a pair of gay-themed movies, but their roles couldn’t be further apart.
Meanwhile Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame is not playing gay—he’s playing a straight man in a world where 90% of the population is homosexual. (Didn’t we see that in an old episode of Ellen?)
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Lutz is being paired with Camilla Belle as a closeted straight couple in a world where breeders are the ones getting bullied. The film, Love Is All You Need?, will feature a number of storyline and is being directed by Kim Rocco Shield, who originally produced it as a short.

Oh for fuck sakes. So Hollywood won’t make gay stories, with out gay actors, but will make movies where hets–played by straight actors–are being “bullied” by gays. This is just another straight love story like every other piece of shit that Hollywood produces.

I would hardly call “The Mortal Instruments” series gay-themed. Yes, Zegers is playing a gay character but it’s a supporting role in a movie whose major story is a hetero romance.

The Mortal Instruments basically subjugates the gay characters and storylines in subservience to the hetero characters and storyline. Alec is in love with Jace, who doesn’t give a shit, and the protagonist (female lead) attacks Alec immediately upon realizing he’s gay. SMH. Anyways *SPOILERS* It’s an 1ncest romance story, or at least, that’s where the plot was reading when I stopped reading the second book…

Grantham West used this alternate reality in AD2040: Through a Dark Glass Clearly in 2007, and rewrote/republished it in 2011 as AD2040: Clear and Present Danger, Triumph of the Religious Right.
