NOM Discovers Cute Governor Pun for New Hampshire Ad

Here’s the National Organization for Marriage’s new New Hampshire spot. It seems Maggie Gallagher & Co. have abandoned their “gathering storm” tactics for the more tried and true ad campaign strategy of floating headlines and repetitive, short talking points.

The only one’s making gay marriage an “important issue” in NH are NOM. If things were as they “should be” then gay marriage wouldn’t even be an “issue”

Oh no there are other issues….hate, bigotry and lies….something NOMA and the conservative right have high on their list. How else can they run a campaign?

But they did enact the changes, and yet NOM is still crying foul? Sorry, we cannot exempt every business owner from not serving LGBT clients. How would that be different than actual Jim Crow laws?

But, the government cannot and should not discriminate, and religious organizations should be allowed to do teach whatever they want consistent with their beliefs without fear of government encroachment. That’s fair, and as far as I know that is what the NH bill allows for.

Why can’t NOM just admit they hate gays, oppose civil unions too, so we can have a real honest debate about LGBT civil rights.
