Reykjavik Mayor Jon Gnarr, Gay Pride Drag Queen

OH SNAP — Reykjavik Mayor Jon Gnarr, the comedian-cum-politico, shows up at his city’s gay pride festivities dressed in drag. He told the crowd last night, “the mayor unfortunately could not attend himself. … This is what happens when the people elect a clown as a major.” Gnarr won the mayoral race on a party platform of polar bears for the zoo and free towels at swimming pools.
