WATCH: Abercrombie & Fitch Models Cover “Call Me Maybe”
Oh you can bitch all you want about the deluge of inane “Call Me Maybe” lipsych videos but we defy you not to smile at these chiseled retail Adonises.
Apparently, Abercrombie & Fitch put Carly Rae’s ‘infectious pop hit on one of its compilations back in 2011, so it can sort of lay claim to discovering her. In celebration of the song’s popularity A&F asked guys from flagship stores around to film themselves having fun with the song—and this is what they sent back.
Ugh, now we can’t hate them like we used to.

I personally like all the renditions of this, including this one. It’s just people having fun. I enjoy seeing people happy. I wish other people did too.

At first, I was annoyed with this display, but then I considered that this may be an advertising gimmick that the models were asked to do. It’s an enjoyable song, so they must have had fun doing it. And although they finally have some models of color, I am not sure that even this will get me to shop there.

The guys are hot the song is good and this is one of the better lip synched ones (on some other videos they don’t even know the words) but I wish we could get a group of hot guys who know the words
