Johnny Depp may have been passed over for an Oscar nomination for Black Mass, but he teamed up with Funny Or Die for a HUUUUUGE new role.
The comedy site snagged Depp to play Donald Tump for a fake movie version of Trump’s 1987 memoir/business advice book The Art Of The Deal which (sigh) was a New York Times bestseller for nearly a year.
The creators apparently shot the entire thing in secret, and dropped a Beyonce-style surprise on us all this morning. As the prospect of a real-life Donald Trump presidency becomes scarier and more realistic by the minute, it’s good to remind everyone that the man’s still a clown who shouldn’t come within a mile of the Oval Office.
Check out the trailer below and you can watch the full 50-minute flick here.
How about we take this to the next level?

The Art of the Deal was on the NYTimes bestseller, true. But Trump also boosted the sales of that book by putting one in every room in his hotels. The price was attached to the room bill but never listed on the bills itemized receipt. This guy ain’t stupid but I swear the more I dig into his background the more impressed I get. I am hoping he launches a third party bid if by some miracle a Rubio/Cruz ticket emerges.
