WATCH: TMZ Tracks Down Lesbian Pageant Contestant Outside The Abbey In L.A.

Mollie Thomas, 19, was one of two lesbians breaking new ground by competing in the Miss California USA beauty pageant last weekend. It’s bad enough she lost out to Natalie Pack (pffft, whatevs) but TMZ trained its camera on her and turned an innocent interview into some salacious, misogynist item.

Well, to be fair, it is TMZ.

      I’m a lesbian who competed – closeted – in my state’s USA pageant this year. Shit like this makes me glad I chose to keep my gayness on the DL.
