Will Johnny Weir Accept the Challenge to Be Gender Tested?
“Every little boy should be as lucky as to turn into me, and that’s all I have to say,” Johnny Weir tells fellow figure skater Dorothy Hammill, responding to the Canadian sportscasters who (jokingly!) suggested, on air, that Johnny be subjected to a gender test.
What do we have here? Oh, just another reason that Weir is not, in fact, some “bad example” — as the sports commentators claimed — for little boys who want to get into figure skating, but instead a guy who won’t let comments by the ignorant get in the way of his passion. You know, a role model.
Excellent timing! I just received my gender identifying certification certificate in the mail!! I will gladly use my specialized tool to certify that Johnny qWeir is indeed not a little girl…….(however I am farily certain I can get him to scream like one!!) : p

@Bertie: wow way to paint an entire nation with the same brush and with beige no less.. listen there are assholes everywhere and given the difference in population that means the U.S.A is populated with quite a few more assholes then Canada!! And for the record if the comments came from the French RDS commentators it really doesnt count.. Quebec is their own country ! (I kid) Montreal kicks ass!
