Estanislao FernĂĄndez, the 24-year-old son of newly-inaugurated Argentine President Alberto FernĂĄndez, set off a media blitz by wearing what looked like a rainbow-colored handkerchief to his fatherâs inauguration. The younger FernĂĄndez later revealed that the handkerchief was actually a folded up Pride Flag, much to the amusement of the internet.

FernĂĄndez moonlights as a drag queen named Dyhzy, who specializes in cosplay-style drag. President FernĂĄndez has referred to his son as âhis greatest pride,â and commended him for his contribution to the queer community. âMy son is a rights activist in that community,â he told  Radio Con Vos via Ushuaia Noticias. âI would worry if my son was a criminal, but he is a great man. In that world, which I donât know much about, [he] seems to be respected and very recognized. I have pride in my son, how can I not be proud?â

I doubt if his security men are knocking each other down to be assigned to protect him. A drag queen son of the president of the late Evita Peron’s Argentina will no doubt follow Evita’s example of how to spend over $100k per year in gowns alone. I say stay tuned to this one.
