Okay, we know it’s only Monday, but this is the best thing we’ve seen all week.
In a new video, naked dancers whirl, twirl, tango, and waltz to the tune of “I’m Just Wild About Harry” before a crowd on onlookers in downtown Los Angeles. The video is the latest promo for VH1’s new series Dating Naked. Yes, you read that correctly. Dating Naked. It’s a reality show about people who strip down to their birthday suits then go on dates because — well — why the hell not? This is reality television we’re talking about, folks. One can never stoop too low.
Is it just a coincidence that the promo was released on National Nude Day? We think not.
Watch the big, naked NSFW-ish spectacle below.

I thought I would be gagging, thinking that this was another “Naked and alone” clone, but the ad was GREAT!!! I may actually look for the show on VH-1!
Kieran
If those two guys were on “Dancing With the Stars” I’d actually tune in. Too bad America is still far too homophobic for that. The guys are too hot and good-looking.

beautiful. just beautiful. and FUN!
AJAnders
That’s actually a cute video. The jury is still out on the actual show.
Billy Budd
This is Amazing. I loved it.
Lvng1tor
The show is really dumb the video is great and very body image positive.

All is sexy and good, but if you check out the existing (blurred) online promo video trailers of this desperation reality show, it definitely is heading for a ratings failure.
SteveParis
I thought it was gonna be one of those weird dancing videos, but it was actually fun and very sexy to watch.
Maximiliano5458
It’s great and Artistic! The Human Body is beautiful in all ages and a pure expression of love. Well done!
Sammy Schlipshit
What a surprise. That was fun.
My only question is will there be actual VJJ’s and wee-wee’s visible on the real show?
If not, it will wind up as lame as that boring ‘Naked & Afraid’ series.
Either show me the goods or don’t bother at all.

@Sammy Schlipshit: I was thinking the same thing. But then again Naked and Afraid got a 2nd season, so nudity to attract viewers did work for them; might work for this show.
lykeitiz
Does anyone know how they did it, legally? The area seems to be too large to be a controlled set, with people shopping in stores & on elevators. I was just wondering how they pulled it off (no pun intended).
Aside from that, this was fun, artistic, beautiful, and every other great word that has already been used to describe it!
AJAnders
@lykeitiz That’s what I’ve been wondering too. And it’s interesting that the customers who are watching them, some of their faces are blurred and some aren’t. It looks like half and half.
Bromancer7
@lykeitiz: I’m assuming they weren’t really naked. Probably flesh-colored g-strings and pasties to keep everything minimally covered.
ShowMeGuy
And in “the land of the free” you can’t show naked people on television.
BlogShag
This is just stupid. Where’s the uncensored version? What are we 4 years old or something? We will be too shocked to see naked bodies dancing?
To me, it makes about as much sense as watching Giada De Laurentis cook a meal, while they blur out the ingredients she’s using or parts of the finished product :/
Ridpathos
Cute, but the show idea sounds stupid.
