A 2017 survey by Squirt.org found that 30% of respondents had engaged in PnP, with an additional 39% saying they could consider it.
22-year-old Nico belongs to that 30%. He says he was recently surprised when he showed up to a chemsex party and found a celebrity he admired partaking in the action.
According to the Inquirer.net:
Nico said he didn’t know that his crush (an actor whose identity he had vowed to keep secret) would be participating in that night’s “party and play,” also called P&P (or PnP) that is commonly associated with men who meet up to have casual, nonstop sex aided by a mixture of narcotics, party or recreational drugs, and liquor or energy drinks.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“Having sex with a celebrity was just too awesome!” Nico says. “I had a crush on him. I was surprised to see him there.”
Um. OK.
According to Inquirer.net, celebrities participating in and sometimes hosting PnP events is not uncommon. 20-year-old Kenjo tells the publication that he recently attended “a huge show biz event, sponsored by two or so high-fashion brands” where he rubbed elbows with several celebrities.
One of the celebrities invited him to an after party back at his condo, where Kenjo and the man engaged in a five man meth-infused orgy.
“I felt a rush that I wanted to consume, but it never stopped, so I had to exhaust it until I passed out,” he recalls. “But what I can recall is that I had sex with every guy in the group.”

For the record: Chemsex is incredibly dangerous. Not just because drugs can kill you but because people often don’t exercise the best judgement while under the influence, especially when it comes to using protection, and can be exposed to all kinds of STDs.
Then, of course, there are all those chilling accounts of men overdosing and being sexually assaulted instead of being taken the the hospital.
Just because celebrities sometimes PnP doesn’t mean you should.
batesmotel
Using the celebrity term is subjective. Real celebrities would be people like Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lawrence, Harrison Ford. Doubt someone of that caliber was at a PNP chemsex party. lol.
pharaon.em.joe
You would be surprised.
Brian
It could have been Max Emerson. He’s almost at that level, if Queerty’s coverage of him is any indication.
Heywood Jablowme
Oh, I’m sure it was just Davey Wavey.
KepiBear
Brian, I’m dying. Your deft use of sarcasm is the funniest thing I’ve read all week. HILARIOUS!

Aren’t we glad we have PrEP and PEP? I’m surprised this article doesn’t mention that a negative who goes to an orgy can get treated the next day with PEP. And or course if you like group sex then you should be on PrEP. This is a just say no article and like all such advice it doesn’t enlighten those persons who haven’t learned about modern medicine.
Kangol
True but PEP & PrEP don’t treat other sexually transmitted diseases or illnesses. It is a valuable resource, but it doesn’t address the complete picture. So if you have five guys and all are on PrEP but none are using condoms, and one has chlamydia, one has gonorrhea, one has syphilis, one has HPV, etc….not good. You get the point.
spacecadet
Great point Kangol. I’m a PrEP user and admittedly don’t use condoms myself but I inquire about the health of my partners and don’t go to wild orgies where you can pretty much assume STD’s are being passed around to all of the participants.

Two years from now, this story will turn into “I was sexually assaulted by (said celebrity)”
Stories change over time…
Paco
The “gross” tag is appropriate.
Hillers
But, like, in a really sing-songy, operatic way, like, “Groooooooooooooooss!” And scene.
Hillers
The fact that there are guys so into the PnP scene just makes me feel tremendously sad.
spacecadet
Yeah, this was a sad article. I feel sad for everyone involved.

Those guys who engage in drug fueled unsafe group sex need to wake up and get sober now. You may enjoy the wild reckless fun for now but in a few years, you will likely lose your apartment, your job, your family and friend sand your health will suffer irreparable damages.
OzJosh
Maybe Queerty thinks it’s done the responsible thing by pointing out that drug use “can kill you” and may lead to STDs. But overall this article still tends to glamorise and normalise PNP behaviours, leaving the impression there is great fun to be had, despite a few risks. Speaking from the experience of having several friends who became regular PNPers, I would say that there are worse consequences than death or an STD. Every single person I know who went down that path ended up ruined by it – STD’s sure, but much, much worse. It starts with spending too much time and money chasing the highs, but before you know it they’re broke, in debt, scrounging rent money from friends and relatives, becoming aggressive and turning on same friends and relatives when they eventually refuse to fund your habit, ultimately alienating all friends and relatives, losing your job, losing your apartment, committing petty crimes to get cash, committing major crimes to get cash, etc. One way or another, it inevitably becomes a living hell.
Two more things worth noting: sex with PNPers if you’re not also high is the worst sex you will ever have. They’re totally focussed on themselves, and more often than not unable to actually function. And we all know Queerty’s definition of “celebrity” includes all manner of porn stars, bloggers and Instagram “sensations” that nobody has ever heard of. So big deal.
SiamSam
Your comment was worth reading more than the article.
Knight
Oz I agree 100%. I said as much albeit in about 4 sentences and got my post deleted for it. Maybe Queerty felt I was not paying enough homage to their “mystery celebrity” (assuming this story is even real…then again, who would doubt ANYTHING as being other than the absolute truth coming from a site called “inquirer”?)…
Soulforce1
@OzJosh: While you make valid points about drug use and the results of the PNP lifestyle, I disagree with your assessment that “Maybe Queerty thinks it’s done the responsible thing by pointing out that drug use “can kill you” and may lead to STDs. But overall this article still tends to glamorise and normalise PNP behaviours, leaving the impression there is great fun to be had, despite a few risks.” How are we supposed to have these conversations and make any headway toward shutting down the ChemSex epidemic if we don’t have articles that raise the issue posted in places where people will read them? Having these kinds of articles and conversations doesn’t glamorize or normalize anything unless you do so in your own mind. I would challenge anyone who condemns this article to consider that maybe it would be better to stay focused on discussing the problem rather than shooting the messenger and tearing down their efforts to bring the difficult conversations to the forefront in the mainstream consciousness of our community. Just my opinion.
OzJosh
Oh, and who ever turned up to PNP with a bunch of flowers behind their back?!!!!!
Jack Meoff
So what exactly was the point of this article other than to demonstrate that the subject not only has poor judgement but that he is also a star f@#$er. They have not named the celebrity (which could have made article a little more interesting), all they have done is highlight the ill advised practice of chemsex.
Andy
I remember way back when we would have these group sex parties pre HIV days and we called it an orgy. The occasional STD and of course with lights dimmed you later find you just had the most incredible sex with your be friend.
Jaxton
Some queens love putting man-made chemicals into their bodies. Trrrragic.
Knight
Interesting. So, now Queerty is censuring/deleting comments arbitrarily?
Definitely a new low here. And that’s saying a LOT.
leobaga
Yes. It is sad.
prarie pup
Why hide the name of the celebrity in attendance? Any real celebrity foolish enough to do something that stupid so publicly clearly isn’t terribly concerned if that information gets out.
Knight
Because as was said above, this so-called “celebrity” is most likely little more than an internet personality who most of us wouldn’t recognize anyway.
charlie_jackpot
Are there just play parties? The idea of group sex is appealing, but not the drugs part
Knight
No disrespect to anyone, but I personally am not/would not be into any of these parties, since I can guess exactly who would be there. From the invitations I have received, it’s usually one very elderly or hideous couple who cannot typically find a third to join them, so they end up opening up their home to several others who they wish they COULD have sex with. And they make alcohol and drugs easily accessible to ensure there will be some “weak prey” in the pack they can finally have (potentially unconsensual) sex with.
No thank you. A few guys over after a night out and “whatever happens happens”, sure. But not this.
medcannabis1
The gay community is filled with brilliant young men who have bright futures . It is so sad to see the destruction still be waged upon the LGBT community by meth and the PNP crowd by this insidious drug.
If you have a friend in the PNP world, take some time and have a serious talk with them, and let them know that if they choose to clean up, then you will be there for them.
No one, wants to live like a junkie….
NO ONE!
Knight
Not convinced of this at all. I don’t think the LGBT so-called community is full of anything out of the ordinary. In fact, I think it’s a typical sample of humanity… most of which is clearly mediocre. This is especially true of the thin-skinned, lack-luster authors at Queerty.
Bromancer7
Life’s too short not to have fun. Ignore all the slut-shamers and do whatever makes you happy.
Daddy K
For those doubting the use of the word “celeb”… I used to live in Hollywood and had more than one encounter with a high celebrity or ones who would PnP. The “level” of the celeb doesn’t dictate if they do drugs. Drugs cross many boundaries. Especially for the ones still in the closet.
DCguy
Just a B.S. article where somebody claims that some famous person who they won’t name did whatever.
nm4047
so if queerty editorialised the ‘dangers’ of chemsex parties as per this story, why publish it?

We have to condemn these reckless drug fueled sex parties in no uncertain terms. Going easy on them will not change their minds nor their behaviors. Hopefully the combination of law enforcement, halfway housing and 12-step meetings will alter the lives of these lost souls.

The Davey Wavey comment made me fall on the floor laughing. Been giggling to myself for 10minutes over that.
