Queer California Assemblyman Mark Leno got leathered up last week when the Senatorial hopeful stumped San Francisco’s leather community. During his time at hosts Richard Bolingbroke and Steve Gaynes homes, Leno explained his political motivations:
Democracy is best served when voters have a choice, and that debate is good for our community and for the broader district community as well.
…How do we decide who is the best in this democratic society? We have a debate and exchange of ideas, and then we have a vote… [W]hoever wins is going to be better for the voters, because whoever it is, will have had to work to earn it.
Girl, you’re working it, so let’s hope you’re earning it.
