People can’t stop talking about the Fiji Water Girl, one of the young models hired to distribute bottled water to celebrities at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.
Los Angeles-based model and aspiring actress Kelleth Cuthbert went viral after she photobombed dozens of A-list celebrities by lurking close behind them on the red carpet.
Not everyone was happy about it, however.
So, I specifically moved away from the blatant Fiji & Moet promotions. I knew there was a photographer poised & I moved as I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either. The sponsors of events need to get permission from people before they try 2 take their picture with them. pic.twitter.com/MudU1bwwtM

Honestly, it was kinda rude of Fiji Water, an event sponsor, to have someone creeping in the background like that. But it did make for some pretty amazing memes.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
So without any further ado…

I agree with Jamie Lee Curtis. The Fiji girl needed to back off. But how gorgeous was Jamie Lee!! You go gurl!

She looked like a 79 year old matron who retired to Boca.

Pathetic and sad. I hate how commercials are becoming ubiquitous. Worse, it’s an hours-long commercial for an unnecessary product in wasteful packaging. Layers upon layers of absurdity.
California exports its water to Asia, and imports it from Fiji. That’s real. All during droughts. This should make people angry, and it should spur legislators to action.

Jamie Lee Curtis had her face destroyed by plastic surgery, but she somehow managed to remove all the damage.
Regarding the mineral water girl, she deserved a punch on the face.

The sponsors pay a ridiculous amount of money, you have to know damn well they are going to get as much air time as possible. No need to get hysterical over it.
