Cue the Kris Allen and Adam Lambert reference. But what about Charlie and Marcus from Survivor? “The notion that gay men can’t or don’t refrain from hitting on straight friends is, to many, the biggest stereotype of all. It’s simply not true, say most of the men in gay-straight friendships interviewed for this article. A more common source of friction, some gay men say, is the tendency of straight friends to see them only through the lens of sexual orientation.”

I think this notion also comes from the tendency to think of men as not being able to think of anything but sex. Many people also think it’s impossible for a straight man and woman to be friends.
Frank
It’s the other way around: straight men can’t handle a gay male friend, because they still think that because they are male and you are a gay man, you obviously want to sleep with them; even if you won’t. And they don’t understand that even in case you want to, you can still control your impulses. Unless you’re drunk… needless to say. 🙂
bigjake75
Who gives a fuck? Most straight guys are animals anyway, they eat like pigs, their hygiene is suspect, and all they think about is pussy, just like I think about dick. 9 times out of 10 when i see a good looking straight guy, within 30 seconds he says or does something to reveal what a tool he is. Respect differences, get along, but leave me alone. I’m happy with my boyfriend, and my girls.
TANK
I can’t be friends with straight men because I’m a radical separatist queer who won’t stand FOR THIS OPPRESSION! I hate dealing with them at stores and movie theaters and stuff…I call up my dad once a week just to tell him to go fuck himself and that he’s a breeder.
Frank
@bigjake75: @TANK:
Calm down! There are decent straight dudes. At least, here in The Netherlands.
TANK
@Frank:
You hate yourself frank. You’re a traitor.
Frank
@TANK: HAHA!!!! Like there is such a thing. Here there are adorable, sweet straight dudes, who accept you for who you are and enjoy your company. It Europe…
Joanaroo
I had to laugh at BigJake75s description of straight men-because he’s right! Straight men are hard to be friends with because sex always-excuse the pun-always comes up. And it usually ruins the chance of a continuing friendship if something goes wrong. Straight men are slobs, that’s why I prefer living with my cats and their unconditional love!
Frank
@TANK: Your dad it *the* example of how straight men are? Go to a shrink and get your disorder solved. Your are not an activist but a separatist – like apartheid. And a troll..
TikiHead
Methinks Tank was engaging in satire…
TANK
@Frank:
Frank, straight men are gross slobs. That turns you on or something… I pity you…you’ll never be happy with that kind of attitude and, when you’re in your eighties like strumpet, will only have stuffed animals and cats to keep you company. WHy do you hate yourself? It’s so obvious!
ASSIMILATINIST PIGS MUST BE TRAMPLED BY THE BOOTS OF THE MASTER ORIENTATION!
Yes, my dad’s an example of how straight men are…well, pretty much the example. He’s not a slob, per se…but since he’s straight, he has to be a slob. Fucking breeders and their picnics and twin bicycle seats and doublemint gum. I don’t know what you meant with that “disorder talk” following that comment…but it’s weird and says more about you than me.
APARTHEID! STRAIGHT MEN RUINED THE WORLD!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZLjJy0abf8
Frank
@TANK: “Frank, straight men are gross slobs.” And gays are never like that? As a queen in my 40’s living with HIV, it’s the god-damn queers who do not want to tae even a quick look at me; like I am damaged goods. And look at the physically obsessed queers here at Queerty – and all other gay blogs. So get over it already. Having said that: I love you. When will we meet?
Allen
One of my best friends is a straight southern redneck that lives in the woods and hunts every weekend. By all accounts we should have nothing in common, but he accepts me for me and I accept him the same. Sexual orientation has never been an issue in our relationship. We just enjoy hanging out. Gays and Straights can be friends.
TANK
@Allen:
Yeah, this is built on your self loathing straight fantasies. Like hunting and fishing and “having a catch”. It’s sickness. SICKNESS.
Gays and straights can’t be friends! It’s like saying that jews and non-jews can be friends. NOT POSSIBLE.
ChristopherM
@TANK:
You don’t do parody very well, dear.
TANK
@ChristopherM:
Parody? Look, three’s company proves everything I’m saying, and that you’re an agent of intolerance because you’d rather be a traitor to your people with your self loathing “pick me” at gym class rather than watch the real housewives, drink black out amounts of alcohol and say things that encourage bashings in an inflected overly feminine tone. NO parody!
Frank
@TANK: “It’s like saying that jews and non-jews can be friends. NOT POSSIBLE.”
Well, now the real bigot comes out of the closet. ENJOY!
TANK
@Frank:
I’m goyphobic.
tavdy79
@TANK: be sure to let me know when your balls drop. Until then, I’m sooo not interested in any of the shit your prepubescent brain spouts.
TANK
@tavdy79:
You need to cultivate some fuckin’ self respect! Key a straight guy’s car.
schlukitz
LOL@TANK:
Goyphobic. I love it.
Like the Jewish boy who brings home a Gentile girlfriend for dinner and whose mother says “Dis is da shicksa you bring home for me to meet?”
Hannah
Tank, you man-hater.
Frank
@TANK: “Goyphobic”. Means you hate
Yentle’!??? That’s the bestest film ever! Babs rules!!
strumpetwindsock
@TANK:
Racist, you mean?
straights? goyim? faggots?
Whom is it that you DON’T hate?
TANK
NO, but I hate yentl anyway. Yentl has literally two groups of fans: elderly jewish ladies and obnoxious queens–both are insufferable.
BrianZ
I have/had quite a number of very loyal straight male friends. It really comes down to their realization that just because they HAVE a penis and I am like penis does not automatically equate to me wanting anything to do with their penis. Seriously, that is the most common thread I get from straights: I like dick so I MUST want at least to see theirs. Of course, I made the mistake of trying to draw a comparison to their standards in pussy … Yeah. I had much better luck with the Clueless shoe sex reference.
TANK
@strumpetwindsock:
No, old salt. Not racist. I am not racist; in fact, I can’t be.
dgz
ugh. you people aren’t actually taking this seriously, are you? it’s his version of humor.
strumpetwindsock
@dgz:
Nah, just handing the dear boy a shovel, that’s all.
Shae
This may sound shallow but i can be friends with ugly straight guys but not hot ones,id be wanting to get with them ….im 19 so i have an excuse lol
ChristopherM
@dgz:
Exactly, which is why I said he doesn’t do parody very well. If he is attempting humor, he should stop because he is not good at it. If he actually is serious (something I find hard to believe, though I suppose queers could have our own version of Shirley Phelps-Roper), the he should be in therapy. Preferably shock therapy.
C-Teller
@TANK:
lmfao I love you.

Straight and gay are largely politicall correct categories. Most men are bisexual in orientation.
jason
Straight and gay are largely politically correct categories. This form of political correctness was devised so as to protect each category from each other. Most men are bisexual in orientation.
schlukitz
This may be slightly off-topic (then again, maybe not) but since it seems to be the most active thread on this site, I thought you should all know that straight bigotry, hatred and discrimination is alive and well in America.
This is a program that is due to be aired in just a little over an hour from now on NBC.
Tonight at 7pm – unless we act RIGHT NOW- NBC 8, WFLA, is planning to air Silencing Christians- a one-hour anti-LGBT propaganda piece designed to “reveal the truth about the radical homosexual agenda.”
https://mail.google.com/mail/?zx=kkxrf5q656ag&shva=1#inbox/122238d593042de9
This ugly infomercial is filled with outrageous, bigoted, and long disproved claims about the LGBT community. It highlights a parade of right wing speakers talking about gay conversion therapy and describes our families as diseased and dangerous.
Back to topic, there may be a few str8 guys who are able and willing to be our friends, but the great moral majority of them are not in the same zip-code with us on that.
schlukitz
Goy – Yiddish for any person who is not Jewish. A Gentile.
Goyim – Yiddish for any group of persons who are not Jewish. Gentiles.
So, what’s racist about that???
rick
straight men hit on gay men. that is the way it has always been. most probably since the begining of time.

Not to worry.
At least you are not as pissed off as I am for having watched it!
I threw-up a little in my mouth 5 minutes into this one-hour long diatribe against LGBT people
I wonder if HRC, ACLU, GLAAD and all of the other top-down LGBT organizations will even acknowledge it, much less protest it! ;-(

Americans are at greater risk of losing their basic freedoms today than ever before in the history of this nation. Political correctness and the voice of the liberal minority are undermining the morals and values of mainstream America.
Renowned author and commentator Janet Parshall takes you on a journey across the country to meet citizens who have been arrested for speaking out at a public rally, students who are being forced to attend classes that require them to recite verses from the Koran and to stage their own jihad and activists pushing social tolerance to such an extreme that the Bible itself is being labeled “hate speech.”
Follow these cases and learn how you can take action to stop the erosion of your personal freedoms on this episode of Speechless … Silencing the Christians.
The 13-week series will air on INSP each Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. It will be posted on SilencingChristians.com at the same time. @bigjake75: Stereotype much? Personally, the only friends I have are straight. Unfortunately, it has been my experience, that every time I see a gay man in 30 seconds he proves he is a tool.
galefan2004
@TANK: Believe it or not we aren’t all bar flies and drag queens. Some of us actually do enjoy the outdoors and fishing (although I’m not big on hunting).
galefan2004
@Frank: Dude, Tank doesn’t know what the closet is in anything that he says or does. He blatantly tries to troll people almost as much as I do.
galefan2004
@Shae: Being 19 is not an excuse to be ruled by your hormones. Yes, we all know the hormones run rampant at 19, but still you should be able to control them. I had a lot of hot straight male friends at 19. Hell, I have a lot of hot straight male friends now. I have definitely had some fantasies about pretty much all of them though.
galefan2004
@schlukitz: While I hate propaganda, I have to say that I learned to pick my battles a long time ago, and this just isn’t a battle worth fighting. They have the same rights to freedom of speech that we do unfortunately. Also, the people that already don’t like us will do so regardless of what they hear about us, and those that are our friends won’t stop being our friends because of this stupidity.
strumpetwindsock
@schlukitz:
Sorry man, I think I correctly used the plural part of speech.
I was just responding to our friend saying he was “goyphobic”.
Half a joke actually, though I have read him use some pretty anti-gay language, including the term faggot, and he doesn’t seem to like straights, religious people, or anyone over the age of 35.
I was just wondering if there was any group of people he DOESN’T hate. Again, I was half joking.
If you have a problem or a question I’m afraid you’ll have to be a bit more direct with it, ’cause I’m not sure what you’re getting at.
schlukitz
@galefan2004:
You may well be right. I don’t object to anyone’s right to freedom of speech. What I do object to, is when they spread malicious lies and make slanderous statements against the LGBT with no empirical evidence to back it up.
If we don’t pick up the gauntlet and respond to their lies, then the lies eventually become truth after they have been repeated over and over with challenge.
I for one, do not like to stick my head in the sand when it comes to my civil-rights.
We underestimated our enemy on Prop.8. Are we just going to let it go at that?
schlukitz
@strumpetwindsock:
You did, in fact, use the correct plural part of speech. 🙂
And I wasn’t getting at anything. Just clarifying the meaning of the word.
And since you clarified you comment that you were half-joking, that settles the matter. LOL
Cheers
strumpetwindsock
@schlukitz:
Yes, cheers to you as well.
I wasn’t sure if I was missing something.
Though you should realize of course I was half serious too.
TANK
apology accepted.
strumpetwindsock
@TANK:
Did someone apologize to you?
schlukitz
Gauntlet’s back on the floor again! HeeHee
strumpetwindsock
@schlukitz:
Nah…. it’s half on the floor.
LOL
galefan2004
@strumpetwindsock: I’m guessing Tank doesn’t hate young muscle bound hairless skinny assed twinks. That is until they turn him down for a romp.
galefan2004
@schlukitz: While I don’t agree with you. No matter what you do, the network is still going to air it if it chooses to. No matter what you do, people that want to believe it will. Its just not worth the battle. Save the energy for fighting things like Prop 8 instead of fighting against hate speech. Its hard to stop hate speech. The entire nation, especially every mainstream therapist/doctor, believes that deprogramming does more harm than good. Let them have their moments of shame. Anyone with a brain knows how stupid what they say is and anyone without a brain was a lost cause anyways.
Bri
@schlukitz:
Looks like the series is on youtube:

😉
schlukitz
@Bri:
Yes. As a matter of fact, it is. 😉
@galefan2004:
Well, that’s for sure. We will never get them to think otherwise.
And the TV networks like the money. So there you have it.
Bri
@schlukitz: This documentary is hilarious.
“One day they’re reading about puppy dogs, and the next day they’re reading about going to the beach or having an argument with a friend, and then ALL OF A SUDDEN! they’re confronted with two princes who fall in love and want to get married.”
Oh noes!
schlukitz
@Bri:
HeeHee
Yeah, I guess that is really the only way to take it, BRI, is with a grain of salt and be able to laugh at it.
Almost a little like their approaching storm commercial, eh? LOL
alejandro
i’ve never been realy close with straight guys, but i have (somewhat recently) become very good friends with one. and its realy awesome. i wont deny that i did/do have a man crush on him, but never would i ever hit on him or make him feel uncomfortable or anything 😛 we’re like brothers, and its great.
anonyy...
Wow…that was a good article imo. I thought it be dumb considering how obvious the conclusion was. nice read.
TANK
While I don’t agree with you. No matter what you do, the network is still going to air it if it chooses to.
Boredom. I’ll slap a pawn around. Are you retarded? Do you realize that what you just said is basically “the netwwork will air it if the network airs it”. It’s a tautology, mongo. That doesn’t address whether or not the network should air it, or even whether or not with significant pressure it WILL air it (regardless of whather or not it did, in fact, air it). Learn some fucking logic you stupid moron.
No matter what you do, people that want to believe it will.
Once again speaking right past the issue. People who believe the lies about the lgbt community believe the lies about the lgbt community…LMAO! This is mind numbingly stupid.
Its just not worth the battle.
You haven’t argued for this at all. It’s not worth the battle to protest or send emails to the network to show that we’re not happy being slandered in primetime? All you’ve said is that people are bigots are bigots and that the network will air the show if (and only if) it airs the show. This isn’t an argument against anything proposed, fool.
Save the energy for fighting things like Prop 8 instead of fighting against hate speech.
Prop 8 is over. It passed. This is an unargued opinion. I think that anything that perpetuates lgbt bigotry on a magnitude of a show airing on nbc at 7 pm merits outrage and protest. You have absolutely no idea how it will frame the issue for people who aren’t completely set on it. It doesn’t matter how trivial it appears to you–an injustice somewhere such as the airing of this program, is an injustice everywhere.
Its hard to stop hate speech.
So we should ignore it entirely? Let it matastacize unchecked? Is that what you’re suggesting? LMAO! No, I will ignore hate speech, and it is the moral imperative of anyone privy to it to address it whenever and wherever they can. Hate speech has real world consequences. It encourages gay bashings, for example. Given the cost of allowing hate speech to remain unchallenged, it simply unethical to advocate a do nothing position. Get off your lazy ass and start doing something productive for this community before you issue these THOUGHTLESS opinions. Better yet, give your approach and general reasoning skill, get the fuck out of the way.
The entire nation, especially every mainstream therapist/doctor, believes that deprogramming does more harm than good.
A nonsequitur. So I guess it’s all wrapped up. Because, for example, the APA (I think that’s the organization your memory failed you in citing) has declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder and has classed reparative therapies potentially harmful (and have condemned the practice based upon that potential harm), all of the hate speech and antigay memes have no impact in the public square. False. STUNNINGLY FALSE. GO AWAY.
Let them have their moments of shame.
You presuppose that enough people disagree with them to warrant the application of shame for their deeds. This is baseless, startling naive and totally harmful to our cause. Just because a privilege asshole like you doesn’t have to deal directly with homophobia and never has (except, likely, the internalized variety) doesn’t mean it is a living reality for many lgbt people across this country. You have no idea of what you’re talking about.
Anyone with a brain knows how stupid what they say is and anyone without a brain was a lost cause anyways.
It’s attitudes like this that are responsible for the passage of prop 8. Shameful.
TANK
@galefan2004:
And since when does that happen, you self loathing closet case.
TANK
@strumpetwindsock:
Well, if you had any integrity (which I’ve demonstrated on several occasions that you do not) you would for libeling me as a racist. And for what? Using goy? Non-jew is not a race, despite what you’d prefer, goy.
And I think my use of faggot was justified, faggot. Some queens are deserve the appellation for their abhorrent misbehavior.
Mack
Rick is correct. My partner and I have been together for 25 years and he is always pissed off when a str8 man trys to pick me up. He can’t figure out why it is always me and not him. I’m not that good looking, don’t act availible, not fem, but am hit on when we go to a straight bar.
jason
The one thing I like about straight guys is they’re not looking at your crotch when they’re saying hello.
KyleR
I lived with a few straight guys. We were greats friends. Partied up together. I hit on them when I was drunk. But other than that, never had a problem. Gays and Straights. Guys and Girls can all be friends. If cats and dogs can be friends, then I think a pair of humans, regardless of who or what they are can too. Just don’t go biting anyone’s butt. Unless their into it.
Fitz
Except for the one I am married to, I don’t fuck my friends– so being friends (with hettys) has not been as issue. I don’t hang with macho shit heads, and I am not walking around on a dog leash, so our sexual activities tend to not be an issue. In fact, I have had more issues with gay friends- especially the younger ones– some of whom assume we are “open” and get pretty forward.
alan brickman
nice article about “straight hate”…most straight guys don’t have a problem with hanging with gays…plus they are always the first to help you move….
strumpetwindsock
I think you must be imagining persecution again.
In the first place I simply asked if YOU intended “goyphobic” as an expression of racist intent:
http://www.queerty.com/newspaper-discovers-gay-straight-men-can-be-friends-without-benefits-20090627/#comment-186811
Secondly, racism is the belief that one race is superior. A lot of racism is directed against people of mixed-blood or non-specific heritage.
Thirdly though, my actual point was to ask you if there was any group of people which you do NOT hate. I don’t think I have ever read a positive statement from you about anyone or any thing.
Again, I was half-joking, but my serious point behind that joke was that you seem to see virtually everyone as an enemy, a traitor, a persecutor, ugly, old or stupid.
And that seems to include queers who don’t think exactly the same way as you do.
So again… is there anyone you DON’T hate?
galefan2004
@TANK: The logic is that unlike you Tank I don’t charge head first into every single battle I see. I pick and chose my battles very carefully. I understand that energy and time are precious commodities. Yes, it really comes down to the fact that if the network wants to air it it will air it. That has been proven time and time again. Going at it head on just makes it more controversial and in the end that just means more people will watch it when it does air.
Unfortunately for you Tank, the one looking right past the issue is you. The truth is you can’t change people’s minds. It seems that you spend way to much energy trying, but when people’s minds are firmly made up you simply can not change them.
I have done more for this community than you know. I just do not believe that 1) hate speech is responsible for hate action (that is like claiming that Marilyn Manson’s music is responsible for violence) and 2) hate speech encourages people to practice hate (they don’t need encouragement if they are deranged enough to practice hate).
Again you are wrong Tank, the APA is PART of the main stream. There are so many organizations in main stream mental health care that simply saying the APA is not encompassing enough. The majority of this country follows what the mainstream mental health field says. Those that don’t are so whacked out that a program airing at 7 PM (and since when the hell is 7 PM prime time) isn’t going affect them one way or the other. Those that believe this program do so because they already feel that way. Those that don’t believe this program do so because they know its full of shit. Either which way, it should air. Programs like these normally turn more people off than on in my experience.
Dude, I grew up in small town Ohio. I have been called everything under the sun. I have been attacked for my life style on more than one occasion. I came out during the MS murder. The bar I performed at had a shooting of a gay man in the parking lot of the bar during the time I was performing there quite often. I’m also not exactly rich and I’m not exactly privileged. I just have faith that music and television does not change the minds of people. The fact that is does is a movement thought up by parents to get their kids to stop watching violence and stop listening to violent lyrics by violating first amendment rights.
Prop 8 passed because the lgbt community was unwilling to play dirty against the churches that played dirty. A large part of it was because the lgbt community was unwilling to counter a quote by BO that was taken completely out of context.
galefan2004
@TANK: I’m assuming that twinks never turn you down because the majority of twinks like assholes that treat them like crap. It intrigues them, and you have that aspect covered. Its real men with brains that turn you down, but then again you hate all of them anyways.
TANK
@galefan2004:
Are you writing your memoirs? I’m not reading all of that shit. I schooled your dumb ass. THE END.
TANK
And don’t call me dude, dude.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iErDW9Co17o
galefan2004
@TANK: I don’t expect you to read a paragraph Tank. I would assume that your small minded ass would totally and utterly die of exhaustion from having to read more than two sentences (I’m sorry that this will be to long for you). Nicely veiled threat of violence. I expect no less from you dude. I will call you dude when I chose to dude. Do something about if you don’t like it dude. Unlike some of these posters that you obviously feel that you do intimidate, I am no stranger to standing up for myself against people that try to intimidate me both online and in the real world.
TANK
@galefan2004:
Veiled threat of violence? Where? LOL! GOd you’re so stupid…it’s hilarious. Don’t call me dude!
galefan2004
@TANK: Dude, you showed me a video of a kid getting attacked by a cop for calling the cop dude. Now, if that wasn’t meant to imply that I would get attacked by you for calling you dude then what was your justification for linking it. Seriously, I want you to justify it dude.
You do realize that if you never asked me to stop calling you dude I would have maybe called you it once or twice. I know that makes me look like a 10 year old, so I will now stop calling you that.
TANK
@galefan2004:
No, it wasn’t meant to imply that you would get attacked for calling me dude…LOL! Don’t call me dude.
galefan2004
@TANK: I think I already said that I would stop calling you that word that you don’t want to be called because although you like to believe so, I’m really not a 10 year old. Horribly naive on a lot of issues? Probably. Unwilling to listen? Not really. I just have fun baiting you because you get this raging bull type of stance which is just so fun to watch. You do whatever it takes to get the mission accomplished if that is the mission you believe in. You attack whoever gets in your way, and you just stay focused on the mission. The whole concept is actually pretty hot. I can’t even imagine what would happen to someone if they actually fucked with someone you cared about and set you off.
TANK
@galefan2004:
You stopped because I told you to stop.
galefan2004
@TANK: I won’t disagree with that. I also stopped because I’m not 10, and continuing to do something against your wishes seemed childish to me.
strumpetwindsock
Well I see you dudes have been enjoying yourselves while I was gone.
Sheaden
The controversy is surprizing. All over the world openly gay men are enjoying close, nonsexual friendships with straight men. One of my closest friends is a very attractive straight man. Have I thought about it? Sure, I’m human. But does it disrupt our friendship? Not at all.
galefan2004
@strumpetwindsock: Pissing off Tank is always fun. I think I might be a sadomasochist.
strumpetwindsock
@Sheaden:
Plus, someone may be charming or attractive, but if you know the sexual attraction is not mutual what’s the point.
I have lots of straight friends, several of them close.
To see this as a controversy is like the old straight assumption that a man and a woman couldn’t just be friends. It’s nonsense.
galefan2004
@strumpetwindsock: See where I take issue is that in my experience although man and woman or gay man and straight man can be friends. When you start involving the straight mans partner it gets a little harder to accommodate. Most straight men don’t have female friends because their partners simply frown on it.
Fitz
Gale and Tank need a motel room– One good afternoon and you could work off this tension.
strumpetwindsock
@Fitz:
LOL
The same question was raised about me and TANK about a month back. It gets back to my open question…. I don’t think ANYONE is his type.
Good joke though.
@galefan2004:
Sorry man, but I have plenty of examples in my circle of friends that disprove that belief.
Not everyone is over-the-top jealous, and not everyone would put up with it just because he or she happens to be in a relationship.
TANK
@Fitz:
Don’t you have homophobes like gene simmons to defend? I imagine that’s a busy job.
TANK
I don’t think ANYONE is his type.
I know, right!!! I mean, if a used up geriatric husk of a man who believes atheism’s a religion and has oppositional defiant disorder doesn’t turn my crank (you)–and someone who couldn’t argue his way out of a wet paper bag(galefan)…then obviously no one’s my type…
galefan2004
@TANK: I know right. If some blow hard that thinks in black and white instead of shades of gray and uses his acute power of absurdly assanine assumption to read what he wants into almost everything isn’t my type I’m not sure I will ever find anyone.
TANK
acute assanine assumption? …it’s not alliteration, but illiteration (there’s only one ‘s’ in asinine!)! BWAHAHAHAHAHA, so fuckin’ punny.
galefan2004
You know when people start patrolling spelling on the internet it is a clear and utter sign that they have no other valid arguments to make. I misspelled a word. So sue me.
TANK
“clear and utter”? You should be sent to a diction camp.
galefan2004
@TANK: Its ok Tank, I respect your desire to keep this argument going although you have nothing argue about but my clear (transparent) and utter (express) usage of the English language.
TANK
LOL! What argument? I schooled your ass. You provided no compelling rejoinder.

@TANK: Think what you like. I spend much more energy trolling you than I will ever spend actually giving a damn about what you actually think.

@TANK:
Geriatric?
TANK, you’ve already written somewhere that you consider 35 (which, at 28, you are crawling closer to every day) over the hill, and you know I’m almost 48. Face it dude, you have an unnatural obsession with age.
And don’t worry, you’re not my type either. I was just letting Fitz know others had had the same idea.
But forget goyphobia… you’re panphobic.

@strumpetwindsock: It is kind of funny really because Tank had to go to grammar attacks because I “schooled” him on reading between the lines to try to make a point.
You see, when Tank reads between the lines to try to read whatever he wants anyways, he isn’t used to people that will match his stupidity with an actual thought process, so he then has to find another way to try to attack them.
For Tank it is all about trying to win by outlasting the opponent, but I’m not sure how well that strategy works when your opponent is willing to outlast you.
The funny thing is that some day tank will turn 35 and then honestly believe the best parts of his life are past him. That is kind of funny if you think about it. Then again, it wasn’t till I hit 30 that I got a new view on life, and I was a pain in the ass at 28.

@strumpetwindsock:
Well thank you, citizen (of canada=fake country). Thank you for informing fitz (another old timer). And I’m not worried, strumpet. I have mace. ha ha. And yeah, 35 is over the hill, with few exceptions (noted). Besides, creepy old guys like you have nothing interesting to say.
TANK
@galefan2004:
No, I don’t wanna wear you down. I showed you up several times today, outright refuting your claims exposing your backtracking. It was fun. You lose…again. But you’re 30? You seem…12. That’s what happens to people who come out of the closet late in life. They’re kids…very unattractive.

As my two best friends (who are, coincidentally straight and male) point out: Two gay men can’t just be best friends. They’re too catty and competitive.
They were joking, of course, but I’m wondering how much of that actually holds true 🙂
Casey
I am gay and my best friends are 1 girl and about 5-6 straight guys. I’ve never tried to have sex with them. people need to just control their hormones.

Just now watching the Silencing Christians vid. Hysterical! Favorite line thus far is “I don’t want my tax dollars supporting something I, as a human,… do not believe in.” You mean, like my not agreeing with my tax dollars supporting breeder couples who have no business bringing more humans onto this planet because they are uneducated, too sorry to support a family, and too fucking stupid or indoctrinated by outdated dogma to use birth control?? For the love of goddess, will the ignorant bible beaters ever shut their stupid fucking hate spewing maws about something that is almost untouched in the bible? Go eat some fucking shellfish and fornicate ’til your genitals rot, you hateful bastards!

@ScottieJ:
Huzzah!

I’m gay, but I have more straight male friends than gay male friends. I think it’s because there are more straight men in the world…
The only time I get bored of my straight male friends is when they sit around together drooling over some girl. But then they get bored when I talk with my boyfriend or female friends about who’s hot and who’s not.

Being with a gay man doesnt mean your gay
