While the Minnesota legislature is busy double-banning marriages, Minneapolis LGBTs are keeping busy with a little project of their own: an army of 100 drag queens will descend on the appropriately-named Epic Event Center for “Golden GRRRLS: A Night of 100 Drag Queens,” headlined by the delightful Jackie Beat.
The goal: to raise funds for HIV/AIDS organization The Aliveness Project by breaking the Guinness World Record for most drag performers in a single performance.
And what is the record for most drag queens? Well, according to the Guinness website, the answer is:
HTTP Error: Unable to connect to the remote serverExtra info :Exalead.Search.NetworkException: Unable to connect to the remote server —> Microsoft.Http.HttpStageProcessingException: Unable to connect to the remote server —>
Oh. Hm. Guinness record for worst error message!
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
