Holy Ronald McDonald! Dusti Cunningham’s hot gay clowns seem tame compared to Brian Moss’ sexy bodybuilding bozos. The New York-based photographer takes the phrase “clowning around” to a whole new level.
Moss got his start working in the fitness industry.
“In 1982 I opened Better Bodies Gym in New York City,” his website reads. “My gym quickly attracted local bodybuilders.”
After 15 years of running his own gym, Moss took up photography.

“In 1997 I picked up a camera for the first time since childhood and casually started to photograph the leading competitors in the bodybuilding and fitness world,” he says. “My images are unguarded, honest and voyeuristic.”
Another word we’d add is fun. And just a tad bit homoerotic. Or at least erotic. (Moss identifies as straight.)

Unlike a lot of people, I never found clowns creepy. Until now. It’s 90 degrees here and humid as all hell and yet suddenly, I’m shivering.
