On Wednesday, some of the sharpest dressed ‘mos in Manhattan gathered at XVI in Hell’s Kitchen for Styling the Modern Man, a fashion and lifestyle event sponsored by Chivas. As attendees sampled potent cocktails, puffed on cigars, browsed shoe fashions and got manicures and trims (we got our eyebrows did), Athlete Ally founder Hudson Taylor discussed his group’s efforts to raise awareness about and respect for LGBT athletes among hetero competitors. In attendance: Mike Ruiz, Passport Magazine marketing exec Brett Caldwell, stylist Derek Warburton, publicist Shaun Saunders and actor DeMarco Majors.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

of course the straight guy is the only hot one in the pics. Aren’t there any MEN in NYC?

At least a few “Dapper Dudes” seemed to remember what a tie is, but few seemed to make much effort (unless all the cosmetics, waxing and primping counts), but sartorially few appear to have made much of an educated or “dapper” effort. Some stand outs though who were not simply riding on their supposed good looks and anything goes (or is that “I can’t be bothered”) attitude.

LMAO “Making the scene” as though these people are somehow professional models.
