Our friends at Passport magazine didn’t just throw a Halloween party on Monday—they turned it into a charity bash benefiting the Ali Forney Center, which provides essential services to homeless LGBT youth in New York City. And they raised a whopping $33,000 for the organization!
Held at the swank Eventi hotel, the Hollywood-themed “Hollyween” saw Joe Pedro, Paul West and other Passport staffers rubbing elbows with guests who enjoyed three-hour open bar and competed for a round-trip vacation to West Hollywood.
And if you’ve been in the Big Apple lately, you know how nice a trip to La-La Land would feel right about now.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Chopsie
This looked good enough to miss…
danny
@Chopsie: More Queerty readers being bitter and bitchy even about an event that was raising money for LGBT homeless youth services.

What’s # 15s name?

@danny, don’t worry, Chopsie like the rest of us commoners probably wouldn’t be eligilbe
for an invite to this party. Most A-listers I know believe NYC is the center of the
universe. No matter the weather they could probably care less about a trip to LA.
Spike
Very boring and unoriginal costumes, was this a str8t party?
Stacy
@Spike: I am loving Gray Gardens at number 11 and the Birds!! lol
Alaimo
Yawn… not a particularly inspired bunch of outfits. But I did smile when seeing the Tippi Hedron “Birds” get-up, as she was in full terror mode!
