RuPaul sat down for a one-on-one interview on a new web series called “The Justin Root Show”. The host, Justin Root, (who is absolutely hilarious in this interview by the way) is a close friend of RuPaul and just launched this new interview web series in mid-March.

In the interview, Justin asks RuPaul the question that’s on everyone’s mind: When is RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 filming and has the cast already been chosen? RuPaul responded by saying, “We’ve cast the show and we start filming in… about five weeks we start filming, four or five weeks.”

Keep in mind, this interview must have been filmed in early June at the latest because Justin uploaded a teaser video of the interview on June 4 (a little over three weeks ago). That means that filming should begin sometime within the next one or two weeks!
