Mugler, the fashion label that used to be known as, ahem, Thierry Mugler, welcomed “musical director” Lady Gaga at Paris Fashion Week today, where the songstress introduced the world to some new tunage off her upcoming record “Born This Way.” And just like when Emmanuel Ungaro hired Lindsay Lohan to help generate some press for the label, nobody is going to remember what went down the runway; just the famous blonde attached to it all.

That could’ve been anyone’s song. I really hope that’s not on the album, it sounds like stereotypical runway europop. and i wish she’d drop the french. i know this was in paris, but sometimes i wish she’d expand into the non-romance languages. german or russian or swedish.
eh.

Formichetti’s Anatomy Of Change debut with Mugler was beautiful, a revolution in mens-wear, and no amount of cynical bitching from queerty can change that.
we remember Plato’s Atlantis by Alexander McQueen for the beauty of the garments and the drama of the styling, not because it also served as the premiere for a Gaga song; do ya fuckin’ research son.

I belive the headline should read walking “hangers” not walking hangars? Clothing goes on a hanger, planes go into a hangar. If you are going to insult the models at least try to use the correct word!
monster
@7: thiis her song and it’s confirmed. she remixed a song from her new album. ps. it’s in German so do a little research before you criticize. It means I’m absolutely clear/ As long as I’m a monster/ I wish we all could be blind/ It would be easier out there.

@7:
uhhhm that is not pop, that is dance music

@jesse john:
You obviously know nothing about fashion, if you think this collection was a revolution in men’s fashion. McQueen, Givenchy, Givenchy, Rick Owens, and random design students from 1996 want their old collections back. Formichetti is a stylist, not a designer, and this collection shows that.
The remixed Gaga track was hot tho. I can’t wait to hear the original version.
Red Meat
I like it makes me want to dance.

Fashion designers are generally repulsive people. Their stock in trade is the physical insecurity of women. The designers reinforce the notion that women must look a certain way in order to be considered “sexy”. It’s a form of appearance fascism.
I don’t fucking care if the designer is gay. Gay fashion designers are just as repulsive as any other fashion designers. They all contribute to the exploitation of women.

@afrolito: i respectfully disagree. the show was brutally masculine while also totally, un-apologetically queer in a way i have not seen in a pretty long time from an industry in which gay male designers ubiquitously worship heteronormative-sportswear-jock ideals. i agree in hindsight that ‘revolution’ was perhaps too strong a word, but i was a little delirious from the reality of a new Gaga song.
Adonis-of-Fire
It is OBVIOUSLY a remix, not the actual album or single version of the song!

The video pulls focus from the clothing. Why would a designer go that route?
