South Africa Claims Mr. Gay World Title For 2nd Straight Year: Francois Nel Wins

Francois Nel, Mr. Gay South Africa 2010, took home the Mr. Gay World 2011 title in Manila over the weekend after beating some 27 competitors — transferring the crown from one South African (Charles van den Berg) to another. Yes, but does the new South African champ also have a jerk off video?

If this is the ideal beauty in the gay world no wonder we get so much flack from conservative asshats. If I wanted a chick, I’d be straight. Why can’t we have an ideal of beauty that looks like an ACTUAL man.

@Daez: People have different tastes. Deal with it.

After looking up the contestants all I have to say is, wow…Really?

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, and the US are all much hotter.

  • Benton

LOL, a dubious distinction at best

  • Jeffree

It’s not a beauty contest. It’s not called “Mr. Most Handsome in the World,” so they are competing to see who is the most, umm, gay.

    Yeah, mystery solved.

Wow, can’t wait to wear my shirts rolled up to my nipples with a big scarf around my neck. And hey, eye shadow back in vogue, too.

Love the faux-homophobic/prejudiced comments about the winner.

So, because he doesn’t live up to YOUR ideals of masculinity he’s not worthy of winning?

Jesus H. When this kind of ridiculous crap is spewed by gays, no wonder we don’t have any luck with the wider world.

Man up and support your fellow GLBT-ers for expressing themselves.

The man is gorgeous, btw. Makeup or no

New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Brazil for me please – I shall console them all, together, in my hot tub

Does anyone know the name of the song?

  • T_wood

Hmmm…really? You all care about this shit?
