They say milk does the body good, but you know what does it for us? Hot bodies dripping in milk! That’s exactly what you’ll experience at the first ever Matinée LaLeche Halloween party in New York City. The world’s biggest dance party is taking over the beautiful Capitale space with a 3D laser show and 20 gorgeous Spanish dancers who will be pouring milk all over each other.
“We mix Broadway-show caliber production with fantasy nightlife elements,” explains Jake Resnicow, one of Matinée’s managing partners. “We combine celebrity performers, spectacular Cirque acts, unparalleled sound and lighting, and beats from the world’s hottest DJs.”
If you’re in New York for Halloween, this is one party you definitely do not want to miss. Get your tickets here and see what trickery you can expect by watching the video below.

Only in this wasteful country would anyone do crap such as this with any food related item.
Arrogant all the way round.

@Sammy Schlipshit: Seeing as how this is the first time this is ever appearing in the USA you realize that you are bashing a country other than America, right you bigoted self righteous f*ck?
Sammy Schlipshit
@DarkZephyr:
Whoa. Bring it down a notch, dude.
We have a difference of opinion. No need to go all postal on me.
My observations are such that we here in the USA waste more food than many other countries ever see.
Tons of edible food are thrown in dumpsters which are kept locked up and guarded to keep hungry folks from feeding themselves.
The obvious obscenities are hot dog eating contests and other such glutinous displays of making food a play item.
Granted, I may have over reacted to that stupid milk wastefulness but I am particularly sensitive to such displays.

@Sammy Schlipshit: Well c’mon Dude, we get bashed enough by Europeans on a constant basis, here at Queerty and elsewhere we don’t need to do it ourselves. This dance festival however is not American in origin, based on what I have seen via google. This is the very first year its coming to the USA and from what I understand, its been going on for 10 years. Since the dancers are Spanish, I am assuming that it originated in Spain. Is Spain a wasteful country? If you go to the facebook page for this event, you will see that related events take place in Spain, such as the Matinée Summer Festival.

Thanks for a well intention and informative response.
I prefer it when folks are more civil to one another.
Regarding USA bashing….Oh, I could go on for some time about all the horrors, immorality and evil that this country has always done. Just start with the murdering of Native Americans and work your way forward through time.
Not saying that all is wonderful and sweet in other countries but only the most barbarian of countries surpass the USA with such blatant corruption, fear, ignorance and manipulation of the citizens.
I have studied the ‘real’ history of our country not the sanitized versions taught in schools….that is if history is even still taught at all.
Is Spain a wasteful country? Not having been there I can’t speak with any authority. I do know they seem to waste a lot of bulls though.
Carry on.

Ooooops, meant to hit reply with this comment….
One more time….

@Sammy Schlipshit: Yes, you are correct that civility is the better way to go and I apologize for my initial reaction but I really AM sick of America bashing. Like you wouldn’t believe.
“Is Spain a wasteful country? Not having been there I can’t speak with any authority. I do know they seem to waste a lot of bulls though.”
And yet ultimately it is Spain that you unwittingly bashed for wasting milk. Not the USA.
“Regarding USA bashing….Oh, I could go on for some time about all the horrors, immorality and evil that this country has always done. Just start with the murdering of Native Americans and work your way forward through time.”
And does this make you feel absolved of these horrors, taking on this kind of attitude? Who IS to blame for these things? Who do you actually hold accountable? Surely not the land itself, the dirt, sand and rocks? Is it the people then? Which people? The Government? The holders of the offices? Those who vote these people into power? Or do you blame the ones who are now long dead that committed the crimes of the past? Do we all share the blame? And when you accuse the country itself of being evil, what is it that you consider “the country”? What makes up this country that you pin the concept of being evil to? Who is it that is arrogant? You mentioned the arrogance of this country in your initial post. Where does this arrogance literally originate from? Do you hold yourself, as an American, responsible? I mean how does the blame that you feel this country deserves get portioned out? Who do you bestow it upon individually?
And beyond all of that, what do you feel would make things right? Should America be destroyed? Should it cease to exist? Should we disband as a nation? There must be a point to the contempt that you hold. How do we as individuals redeem ourselves in your eyes? How have you redeemed yourself?
Obviously I am a bit confused by what you say. I do not deny that these horrors you have described and the further horrors you have hinted at took place (when it comes to the ones you hint at I do not have enough information to make an argument one way or the other). But what I don’t understand is what good it does to walk around hating your country and feeling superior to it and making snarky remarks about it. What does that solve? What does it build up?
We are the sum of our parts. Some of us are good, some of us are rotten. Americans are “sinners” and “saints” so to speak (I am an agnostic so I mean this figuratively of course). We are victims and victimizers, innocent and guilty. The rain falls on us all equally as they say. This is true of any other country, regardless of their pasts. You may as well hate the entire planet. Atrocities have been committed by human beings and their societies for millions of years.
Me, I choose not to hate my nation. I choose to focus on the good. I do not deny the bad, but I will not condemn everything American because of it. Because then, if I was a consistent human being I would have to condemn the entire world. Otherwise I would be a hypocrite.
