We’re a little late to this party, but last month Keiynan Lonsdale put out a new music video that is definitely worth a watch.
The song is titled “Rainbow Dragon” and features Lonsdale exploring various states of drag and dishing about identity, desire and navigating life in general. Just some small topics to chew on.

Lonsdale rose to fame starring in the CW show The Flash, and appearing in the 2018 film Love, Simon, but along the way he’s been developing a musical presence to be reckoned with.

Apparently the definition of “very sexy” is some skinny guy takes his shirt off. OK.

What’s really sad is how cute the song is but the video is a bit TOO queenie. Its like he is hell bent to be his own worst enemy in everything he does. But hey, if this is paying more than his role on The Flash and making him happier then I wish him and those ironing board butt cheeks all the best.

The next queer generation is going to be just fine. I love how comfortable he is in his skin. Love the video.

I appreciate him taking a theatrical approach to this single but I really want him to rein it in for his next single. He has a skill no other queer artist possess. Troye Sivan plays around with pop/r&b vibes but he doesn’t have it in him to really go there. Keiynan has what it takes. With a nice radio friendly pop/r&b song and some good choreography(because the boy can dance) he’d be able to do what a Sam Smith and Troye Sivan couldn’t/can’t do. Maybe Keiynan doesn’t want commercial success but I’d love to see him go for it.

I enjoyed the video, and the song really picks up midway through. Also, Keiynan’s a beautiful young man. I hope he keeps up his singing and acting careers, and finds good material for both.

Another emotionless song that feels like recycled plastic. It will be forgotten about by 2020. And then in 2029 it will be mocked in every looking back in reflection version of *The 2010s* remember when shows.
