Dads!

Gay dads Brian Alexander and John Brock aren’t the only homos who got father’s day love. Seattle-based Geoffrey and Devin, who have three children received some MSM action from MSNBC. While we think it’s great the men are raising their children and giving gays a good name, we hang our heads at the trio’s names: Zach, Zeth and Zayn. Not all gays have good taste… [MSNBC]

I love that there’s an LGBT organization with the word “Family” in it: the Family Equality Council. Reclaiming words that have been stolen by the radical right is a good and fair action. The family that Geoffrey and Devin have created really does put a Focus on the Family, in a way that the radical right’s organizations can’t begin to be able to do. As for the sons’ names, well — who’s to say the names don’t fit them just perfectly?

You just had to add some snark to the end of a brightly shining thing, didn’t you? I’m pretty sure they boys had these names BEFORE they were adopted. Idiot.

Queers are weird. Even the names of their children don’t make sense……
