Ok, I really disagree with the Gawker. Some of their “anti-homophobe” comments took a stab at people within our own community. Calling some gay guys “self-loathing” because they are masculine. I am not feminine, and I certainly don’t have any issue with feminine guys. In fact, I think highly of plenty of the feminine guys I know. And what they fail to grasp is much of why even some gay people can dislike him. As should be obvious by the above, I do not dislike him for the way he carries himself, the fact that he is feminine. It has absolutely nothing to do with it. I dislike Chris Crocker because he throws around serious issues in a ridiculous context, claiming to be funny but simply stirring up more conflict within the gay community, and between it and the straight community. Chris love to whine and complain about eliminating homophobia. But has he ever once done anything about it? Unlike Matthew Lush for example, who’s started iSupport, all Chris has done is attention-whored himself into the public view, thus becoming a representative of sorts for our community, created friction while proving his lack of mental stability, and then bitched about everyone being wrong besides him.
