@alan brickman: I watched him on that Joan Rivers roast. He was awful. Come to think of it, everyone but Joan Rivers was awful that night, even Carl Reiner, who was reduced to just swearing for its own sake (note to comedy writers: old people cursing is not inherently funny. It is what they say and its timing that makes it funny).
