I’d never stoop to Bobby Sherman records but I do still have all my Dimension vinyl, singles and albums. This was from the Portrait LP in early 1970, and also rode the b-side of “One Less Bell To Answer.” Left to right once they’re performing is: Florence LaRue Gordon, Lamont McLemore, Sherman & Billy Davis, Jr., Ron ‘Eli’ Townsend and Marilyn McCoo Davis. Because their music ‘leaned pop’ the way it did, I don’t think Billy Davis Jr. was accorded all the respect of a first-rate soul singer he was. I still love this group.
