True Blood Finally Adds a Gay Blood Sucker

theoalex

While we wait for True Blood‘s Alexander Sarsgård’s bustling sexuality to make its way to other fellas, there’s some other casting news that may tide you over: New to the cast is Theo Alexander, who will play an “intensely beautiful” vampire and boyfriend of Mississippi’s vampire king. Who Sarsgård’s Eric should promptly have an affair with.

The vampires on that show are so sexual and make passionate love. I wonder if the gay vampires are going to have a love scene?

If you’ve read the books, you’ll know that

[SPOILER ALERT!!!]

He does! That is, he sleeps with him to distract him from guarding Sookie. At the King’s house Eric also lets Sookie suck his arm for some healing blood, which makes him come all over her back!

Hot.

I wasn’t a big fan of last season, but I love the series. When does it return?

Yeah – the last season didn’t do it for me either. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked it – just seemed a little off.

I also don’t understand why Queerty stated that True Blood ‘finally’ gets a gay vampire. Maybe it’s semantics – but vampire Bill’s rough gang of vampires from previous seasons had a least one male vampire that liked to do more than suck a man’s blood – don’t know if he was exclusively gay – but from what we saw it seemed it. I believe he was eventually incinerated in that act of arson by the local group of vampire haters.

And then there was the Queen of Louisiana – Sophie-Ann (Evan Rachel Wood) who seemed to be clearly into women sexually, an exclusive lesbian? don’t know but at least bisexual – leaning towrads woman heavily.

Also – as we have seen – the show is not holding strongly to the book – so who knows (except the writers and producers) where this series will eventually lead?

I still think this series is going to continue to be great – there is just so much talent involved.

I always had the impression that Godric, the Sheriff in Texas, was gay for Eric.

Sophie-Ann seemed to prefer women, and she liked to see guys make-out (my kind of lady). Which makes it cute that both the King and Queen vampires of Louisianna, of all places, are into the same sex.

The vampires in general though don’t seem to fall into one clear cut category all the time. They are so sexual that it seems to be whatever gets them their fix is what they will go after. So maybe they are pansexual beings.

I agree Clarence about the pansexual aspect – but so far vampire Bill seems to be not interested (I know of the rumours next of next season).

I also thought Godric was craving Eric, though I didn’t trust my own feelings on that one – since I think they are both gorgeous.

You guys are forgetting Eddie. He was killed, sure, but I think he was a pretty good character.

I actually prefer the concept of a male bisexual vampire as opposed to a male gay vampire. Male bisexual challenges society, especially liberals, far more than male gay. Male gay is safe and segregatable, male bisexual isn’t.
