    I loved your music RIP

  • SeijnSei

His face however, was only 15 years of age. At this time the doctors of the face are requesting privacy.

  • Daggerman know what they say?? The good die young!! And the mutilated…due to all that plastic surgery….

  • PrinceofReason

Sounds like another 57 year old who died in April. :-(

Sad news about Pete Burns. Even sadder was the choice he made to fetishize his face and general appearance. He was a nice-looking man before he chose to embark on the kind of extreme self-alteration you sometimes see in transgenders.

  • Arconcyyon

he was our transvestite trans was quntos years he had sex change gay androginu for trans woman …… Am I the time is pop music djs club looking fashion androginu pop suspence dragon gay fri gay man star.

I am a quite the fan of crass and “inappropriate” humor. Smart performers like Lady Bunny, Louis CK, and Sarah Silverman at great at breaking the conventions of politeness to communicate important observations and messages. What I am not a fan of is moron gays deciding to rip on someone’s looks/life choices the moment their death is announced. There is something about hiding behind a computer keyboard that really brings out the worst in people. On the day your mother dies should we talk about how overweight she was and how badly she dressed? Pete’s face was his face, his alterations did not affect anyone else’s life. Grow up. Work on your own issues, you obviously have many.

It was how old he made gay sex change gay man trans woman music which year which date occurred. thnaks thanks for new future mundi .

@Miss Understood: Pete Burns DID sue, for a fortune, one of the plastic surgeons who he claimed totally botched up his face (and won an out-of-court settlement). So I’m not sure how happy he was with his face either.

  • jkb

    RIP. Thanks for the memories.

  • ChrisK

@Miss Understood: I agree but he did bring it on himself. He made it about his face. Apparently sued over botched work and said that it was because of the plastic surgery that he lost his career.

How incredibly sad. I still consider “Mad, Bad & Dangerous To Know” one of the best, most underrated pop albums out there. I used to play the hell out of it when I was younger. And it doesn’t even have “Spin Me Round” on it.

@Miss Understood: You are so right. Even after you made your well-worded post that needs to be heard, the keyboard commandos still couldn’t come down from their Castle of Right. (Looking at you @ChrisK: and @joeyty: )

I will always remember Pete Burns for the comfort he gave a once insecure gayling, and luckily by tomorrow I will have forgotten the nobodies and their nothing comments.

  • joeyty

@lykeitiz: I forgot to add, “Lady Bunny and Sarah Silverman are ‘smart’ performers ???”

  • ChrisK

@lykeitiz: Jesus. Get off the cross Mary. The only reason he was still relevant was because of his face. Google Pete Burns and Plastic Surgery is usually the top result. The PS might have even contributed to his death.

  • Kangol

RIP. So so so many nights spent on the dancefloor, spinning myself right round to his song!

  • broadshoulder

I thought he died of a heart attack. Thats what the papers are saying. He went on celebrity BB and drove Jodie Marsh around the bend. Well done that man!!

  • Thad

Tobi, that video isn’t available in my country (the USA)…I’m sorry!

I loved the concert video, Rip It Up, that Pete Burns and Dead or Alive made.

I will miss his creativity and musicianship.
