how embarrassing

Ivanka Trump tweeted about child pornography and it got really awkward really fast

Welp, she did it again! Ivanka Trump completely embarrassed herself on Twitter for the 24,862nd time this month.

On Sunday, the first daughter tweeted that the Justice Department had arrested over 300 people in “the largest child porn takedown ever.”

“Our message for those who produce, distribute and receive child pornography is clear: You may try to hide behind technology, but we will find you and we will arrest and prosecute you,” Ivanka wrote.

Obviously, ending child sex abuse and the circulation of kiddie porn is a good thing. So hats off to the Justice Department for that!

But considering the fact that Ivanka’s father has maintained close relationships with several convicted sex offenders even after being elected President, and considering his creepy behavior around young women, particularly teen pageant queens, and considering Ivanka’s own radio silence about pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest for the sex trafficking of minors back in July, her tweet applauding “the largest child porn takedown ever” is, as usual, pretty damn tone deaf. Not to mention, it’s not like she had anything to do with it.

All that said, it didn’t take long for things to get, well, kinda awkward.

Some people mentioned how convicted child sex offender George Nader visited Ivanka’s dad at the White House over a dozen times…

Others mentioned Ivanka’s dad’s long friendship with child rapist Jeffrey Epstein…

Here are some more of the responses…

And then there’s this one…
