Justin Bieber Faints, Shows Fans He’s Okay With Shirtless Instagram Pic (Natch)

The Cardinals in Rome don’t need to send a smoke signal to announce the arrival of the new Pope: They can just Instagram a picture of Justin Bieber shirtless and put His Eminence’s name undernearth it.

The 19-year-old pop prince fainted backstage in London yesterday and was taken to a hospital, where he took this Instagram pic to show his adoring throngs that he and his abs were a-okay.

Who wants to bet they claim “exhaustion” , to bad we all know that equates to drugs. I’m sorry, I just don’t get his appeal. He looks like a cute boyish lesbian to me.

  • Wilbready

@Chad Hunt, I could not agree more! The “pop prince”? Can I gag now? His lyrics are elementary at best. His dancing looks stilted and awkward. If it weren’t for Usher (whom I still do not listen to) we’d never have heard of this punk! Yes, I said punk!

  • Aidan8

I’d like to give him a full body massage with a seriously happy ending… You know, not for me but to help him “recover.” :o

  • Shane

He needs to take some steroids or something because he looks like a prepubescent 12 year old without so much as a single pubic hair. What’s up with that? Inquiring minds want to know.

  • Caleb in SC

I am so over this little diva twat. I thought his fifteen minutes would be over by now. My biggest issue with him is that the news actually reports on his puerile, undereducated tweets as if they are real news. And, Chad, you are correct, he’s headed to rehab in the next year or so.

  • 2eo

Sadly I missed Bieber in the dead pool, he proved too popular so I drew Nicki Minaj unfortunately, but I think Bieber has a much better chance at falling off the mortal coil.

This means I’m out of pocket for £5.

  • Sambo

    Pure White Trash … Aggh!

  • Merv

@Shane: Blonds often have little body hair, same as Asians and Hispanics. Actually, I would guess that most men in the world have little body hair. Quit being so Eurocentric.

  • viveutvivas

    Hmm, not bad, actually.

  • J R

@Merv: Merv: I don’t know where you get your information from but WE Latinos are not hairless. I myself are very hairy.

  • Merv

@J R: Yes, it was a poor generalization. It depends a lot on the amount of European blood. Hispanics that are 100% European tend to be hairy, while those that are 100% Indian tend to be less so (with exceptions on both sides). Also, I was half kidding when I said “Quit being so Eurocentric”, which might not have been obvious without a smiley face.

  • Mofdgheb

He is a disgusting human being, and a violent thug. Stop giving him any more publicity already.

  • MikeE

@Mofdgheb: I beg to differ. He isn’t a “violent thug”. He’s a “violent thug wannabe” with delusions of grandeur. He’s a spoiled-rotten teenager who had everything handed to him on a silver platter and who now expects to do whatever he likes whenever he likes and never have to answer for it.

And the worst part is, he actually believes he has musical talent.

It’s disgusting to think that this pretentious little twit makes millions of dollars, while real artists live below the poverty level. It’s truly disgusting.

  • ho

Well he barely has a one octave range as it is, hopefully this won’t reduce it further. lol

  • Billysees

    @Chad Hunt: 1

But really….don’t we all just love looking at such exquisite faces ?

And that they’re famous means we can see them over and over and over again.

    Isn’t that neat ? …….

  • Billysees

    @Shane: 4

    “….Inquiring minds want to know.”

  • Fidelio

He’s in that in-between stage, you know, that he’s-not-a-girl-not-yet-a-woman stage. I’d tap that.

  • HandsomeHomebody

He’s cute but would look much better without all the tattoos.

  • singforfood

@MikeE: He was self taught on 4 different instruments at 15 years old…that counts for something. Whether or not you LIKE the way he sings is different than saying he can’t sing. He can. He’s not the best by a long shot, but he has the ability.

  • singforfood

I’d hit it as long as he wasn’t allowed to talk

  • MikeE

@singforfood: self taught: meaning he can noodle around on the guitar, strumming chords, he can bash some drums a bit. he can’t READ music, or write it, or even KNOW what he’s doing when he plays his 3-chord pop songs.

Sorry, the kid is NOT a “musician” and there’s absolutely nothing to give him credit for.

Like I said, there are thousands of REAL musicians out there who are living below the poverty line, while this spoiled rotten kid is making millions for singing pure shi*.

  • 1EqualityUSA

My dad had an expression for guys such as this, “King Shit on Turd Island.”

  • 1EqualityUSA

or was it, “Put me among fools and I shall be king…”

  • anna27

MikeE – why so much hate for this kid? I know how to read music but can’t just hear a song and know how to play it by ear. That is a pretty amazing talent imo. Further, your comments about “real musicians” suffering because of the success of Bieber of course applies to 90% of popular artists right now, so it makes me wonder why Bieber seems to get singled out. Here’s what I think. He’s young, small and androgynous. I too find his recent overcompensation kind of sad, but then again I’m not a public figure who is the subject of the kind of hate he is. If people didn’t ridicule him constantly for “looking like a girl”, maybe he wouldn’t feel the need to try to be something different.

  • viveutvivas

@anna27, I agree. Unfortunately even gay forums are full of bullies.

  • balehead

Leave him alone!! Gays who bully should just set fire to themselves already….

  • MikeE

@anna27: You need better reading skills. I didn’t say real artists suffer BECAUSE of him. I said it’s disgusting that he makes millions WHILE real artists suffer in poverty.

Bieber’s problem is he actually THINKS he’s a great artist.

And yes, I would say the SAME thing about any talentless pop-hack who thinks they’re god’s gift to the arts’ scene.

You can read music but you can’t just hear a song and play it by ear? You can learn how to.

But don’t be fooled into thinking that Bieber is some great musical talent because he can screw around on piano or guitar or drums (and “a bit of trumpet” according to his bio). I can do the same thing on a dozen instruments. Of course, I can also fill a concert hall and play seriously for two hours.

Bieber is a pop singer (and I use the word “singer” VERY loosely) like so many others. he is neither more nor less talented than any other pop singer, and is neither more nor less deserving of any sort of praise than any other pop singer. He is deserving of THAT LEVEL of praise… he’s a pop singer. Not a real artist. He is a disposable commodity. Like every other pop singer. Vacuous lyrics. Inane music. Superficial choreography. There’s nothing to admire in that.

What is sad, and upsetting, is that there are thousands of extremely talented musicians out there, who have been working their a$$es off all their lives, and yet, because of the limited market, cannot break through. And yes, it’s frustrating to see someone like Bieber, as talentless and full of himself as can be, make all the millions… all because contemporary society is satisfied to mire in regurgitated pap like Bieber and his ilk put out.

@balehead: What you really mean is “shut up and don’t give your opinions, because I disagree with you all!”, right? or am I letting the heat of the moment blind me to the “leave Brittney Spears alone” parody?

  • Stache1

@MikeE: Trust me. Anna27 and Balehead would be defending Milli Vanilli 20 years ago too. Their just so gosh darn cute and talented. Leave them alone!

  • Merv

Yes, I’m surprised more teeny-boppers don’t listen to Mahler. Look, the kid took a pretty face and modest talent and made the most of it by working with the right people to give a certain market segment exactly what they wanted. It’s business. High art is rarely financially rewarding, at least for the artist.

  • hf2hvit

    @Merv: And you’re an expert because…?

Most humans have a brain…must be another species that can type…

  • Garth

One good reality adjustment should fix him right up. Looking for a little sympathy after screwing up the last couple of weeks !

  • anna27

MikeE – I personally think rock is just as manufactured as pop and just as image based – they just sell to a different audience. I just don’t understand why Bieber gets singled out for so much hate on the internet when others don’t and I think there’s an aspect of bullying to that singling out, especially the severity of the hateful things said. People do not pick on sexy girls like Rhianna who obviously aren’t all about the talent or tough guys like 50 cent because the images they represent mirrors society’s rules for males and females. Bieber gets all the abuse and mainly because he appeals to young girls and isn’t considered manly. That’s prejudice imo. Not liking his style of music or commercial music in general is another matter, but again it should be applied to all not just to one person because they are an easy target and don’t have a ‘cool’ audience.

  • anna27

Merv, thank you for bringing up Mahler. I loved Death in Venice primarily for his music.

  • anna27

viveutvivas, unfortunately its everwhere, even where you least expect it.

  • viveutvivas

@MikeE, I have no idea what Bieber’s music sounds like and I don’t care, but he is being “bullied” here because he is not masculine enough, which is just evil and especially bad for a gay site. As for your criticisms, I agree that the music industry is crap, but maybe you need to calm down, take a deep breath, and get a little perspective. He is basically still a kid (and certainly was when they started using him) and as much a “victim” of The Machine as a beneficiary, so I don’t see why you direct so much vitriol at a child who is not really responsible for the system.

  • 2eo

In news that is awesome for my country, Bieber has vowed to never return here.

Well done Britain, I shall continue admiring our moors and heaths. Said while drinking a cup of delicious tea, pinky out of course because I don’t have syphillis.

  • Edwin Baca

I have one question. “What’s up with the underwear he is wearing” they look like “granny panties”.

  • AEH

    He shaves.

  • tidalpool

@Aidan8: what a kind and thoughtful man, i’d like to award you with the St. Florence of Nightingale medal of honor…

  • Teleny

Justin looks like a 14 year old girl. He’s pretty, but not hot-too childish looking in my book. I saw him on Chelsea a few years back, right when he started exploding and thought what a nice child. He was kind of witty for a 14 year old. But now he seems to be in child star trouble. It seems this kid needs some structure to his life because he’s headed down a path of self-destruction, a road paved with the careers of many former child stars.

  • Bob

He needs to leave his clothes on. Looking at his scrawny body does to my eyes what listening to his crappy music does to my ears.
