At some point in the not-so-distant future, Donald Trump‘s 2016 presidential bid will be taught in sociology classes as an exploration into media manipulation, authoritarianism and the “reality TV” effect on American culture.
Unless, of course, the bloviating, walking ego-trip manages to win, in which case God help us all.
Trump Circus is undeniably captivating to watch — he is arguably the biggest troll on the planet (just narrowly beating Kanye West), saying and doing whatever he knows will land him on front pages.
Which led Cody Permenter, a gay 24-year-old who works in social media in Seattle, to ponder: “How do you troll the master troll?”

The concept it pretty simple: Trump is #Daddy, and the twinks just can’t get enough of him.
If that sounds crass, offensive and borderline inappropriate, that’s because it is all three. And that’s the idea.
Permenter told NY Mag:
It’s bringing a level of absurdity to the election that can match Donald Trump’s absurdity, and having fun with it. I’m not naïve, I know that this election will have a lot of consequences for a lot of people, and some of those won’t be so good depending on who wins, but I think that we shouldn’t lose our ability to have fun and to laugh at it.

On how the satirical account has been received:
It’s definitely been more liberal criticism than conservative criticism, I would say. But this is not a large amount of criticism. Most people understand the joke.
The cherry atop the absurdity sundae is that some Trump supporters are actually kind of into it — similar to how this video meant to mock Trump supporters was embraced by the same lot.

There is no legal reason currently for Hillary Clinton to be sent to prison.
LGBT people who vote for Republicans are voting against their best interests, given how vehement most GOP candidates are about turning the clock back on any and all gay or trans rights that we currently have. Then there are the anti-government stances they have, as well as the defunding of education they support, the tax breaks for the wealthy they support, their opposition to climate change, their continual efforts to overturn Roe vs Wade (whether by challenging the ruling itself or in incremental steps aimed at increasing the difficulty in obtaining the medical procedure known as abortion), their ongoing support for starting wars in other countries to resolve conflicts, the tendency of the Republican contenders to support torture, which is a violation of basic human rights, their opposition to criminal justice reform, their damn near blatant racism, and so much more.
There is nothing on the Republican platform that is reasonable. They should not be supported. Their policies, if ever enacted to the extent they desire, would roll back the clock on multiple progressive advances that have benefited US citizens for decades, and prevent us from making the strides necessary to make our lives and this country better.
In short, screw the Republican Party.

Sorry Cody, maybe I am just getting (swallow) old[er], but the future of who runs our country is no joke…the publicity you push towards Trump only fuels his popularity and actually gets more people to actually think he may not be the worst person for the job. Your right to vote should not be taken lightly nor as an opportunity to generate a social media revolution.
