Following the ban on gay sex reinstated by India’s Supreme Court earlier this month, there have been numerous organized protests including our fave, the same-sex kissing photographic demonstration. A photo is worth a thousand words, right? But is there any more effective way to get a point across than through comedy? Laughter is the best medicine, according to another bromide. It’s the approach taken by popular Bollywood actor Imran Khan and cohorts in their humorous video advice column which comically answers common questions such as “Why do gay people choose to be gay? Can’t they just un-gay?” and the classic “I heard AIDS was invented by gay people, is it true?”
