WATCH: Rugby Players Demonstrate How To Check For Testicular Cancer (NSFW)

As most gay men likely know, it’s important to check your balls regularly for signs of testicular cancer.
In the interest of public health, the members of the UK’s Wolverhamton Wolverines,  an Aussie Rules football club, strip down to demonstrate the proper technique while raising awareness for the Balls to Cancer charity. Tip: “It should feel like a peeled boiled egg in a bag of fluid.”

[Ed. note: This has been edited to reflect the team as an Aussie Rules football club, rather than an Aussie rugby team.]

Got to love how this has been reblogged and forwared everywhere, but did not one watch it, They ARE NOT a rugby team, they ARE a Aussie Rules Football team. Different sport, different game, even if they are somewhat alike.

  • Teddybtoronto

@Daniel: Right you are, Daniel. And while they have been repetedly identifed as an Australian rugby tem, they are actually the Wolverhamton Wolverines aussie rules football club from Staffordshire, England. The campaign in which they are participating, “Balls To Cancer”, is a UK program.

You will never see this on Dr. Oz.

  • Wingfield

Gotta love when a group of guys are cool with rubbing their balls together on television. That woman could go somewhere tho.

  • Shofixti

methinks their prostates need some attention too.

  • yaoming

I think having a woman present was a little odd, but probably made it seem “less gay”. Also strange was how hairless those balls were. What was up with that? Did they all go for a wax?

  • CaptainFabulous

They do stuff like this on the UK’s Embarrassing Bodies all the time. It’s a great show. Too bad the US is far too prudish to ever allow it on TV. Shame really, this kind of stuff needs to be talked about and just isn’t on American TV.

  • CaptainFabulous

DUH… just watched the video and it IS Embarrassing Bodies! /facepalm

  • whatisthis

@CaptainFabulous: The exposed naked human body is a sign of possession by demons, you didn’t know?

  • Justin

This was very informitive. Clearly they would not show this on USA tv. That is just sad. I have read how to do it but I always felt I was doing it wrong.

Speaking of testicular cancer, a friend of mine says he was just playing his balls and then he felt something – “felt like three or four grains of sand” – to quote him. Should he be worried? Don’t tell me about Google.

    Thanks in advance

  • Rockery

They do this all the time. And yes for all of you wondering, the male doctor is in fact gay (not joking)

And I think he might have got a bit of a chubby when these guys exposed their balls

  • Sweet Boy

I could volunteer to clean all that gel

  • 2eo

@Dxley: If he’s a friend of yours I suggest letting it take its course.

  • iMort

@Rad: Yea Oz has a scat fetish.

  • iMort

Not to make light of a serious issue but I could not stop laughing. Living in the U.S. one forgets how open other people are in Europe. What would the Christians say if they tried to air the on a network even a minor one?

  • 2eo

    @iMort: Australia.

  • crowebobby

Though this is obviously meant to be serious medical information, they picked out the cutest guy to do the solo on the table. Not complaining, mind you.

  • the other Greg

@Dxley: It’s impossible to believe that YOU have friends, so I’m guessing that by “a friend of mine” you are referring to yourself.

In which case I’ll say – cut off that ball with a kitchen knife.

  • Dxley

Are you trying to be funny? Damn, you’re fucking awful at it. If that was supposed to insult me, I’ll tell you that I’m impervious to insults. I do have friends, I’m picky, but I have them and my friends are NOT me and by saying that it should take its course, I guess you’re trying to make me sad or mad or whatever? Lmgao. At the end of the fucking day, I’m still me and no harm’s done to me :). Isn’t that wonderful?

  • Greg Garavani

The bottom right fellow seems most self conscious but he happens to actually be one of the cutest of the bunch. And who cares if they’re not a ‘real’ team or aren’t so superficial with their bodies, I love it.

  • Sebizzar

These guys are awesome and cute to boot ^_^
I chuckled at the doctors comments haha and my dirty mind kept wanting something more to happen… ;P
