If you’re like us, there’s been a cul-de-sac shaped hole in your heart ever since America bade farewell to the ladies of Desperate Housewives. But you can catch up with Susan, Bree, Gabby, Lynette and the rest of the residents of Wisteria Lane on the deluxe Desperate Housewives: The Complete Collection box set, out now from ABC.
It’s got all eight seasons of the Emmy-winning show, plus a bonus disc with exclusive interviews and featurettes, all housed in a collectible replica of Mary Alice’s infamous steamer trunk that is so tasteful even Bree would deign to put it on display.
And you know we’ve got one to give away to one lucky Queerty reader!
To enter to win the box set—or one of four copies of Desperate Housewives: The Complete Eighth and Final Season—just tell us which DH character was your favorite. It could be one of the main girls, a supporting character or a special guest star. (We always had a soft spot for bad-boy gay Andrew Van de Kamp)
Contestants must include valid e-mail address and reside in the U.S. Entry indicates interest in receiving prize package. Contest ends Sunday, September 30, at 12pm noon.

Andrew. My favorite scene was his pool scene at night before he came out.

Andrew is always been a star for me, but loved Nathan F as Dr. Adam – love him in anything. And Beau M’s Danny is definitely in the running
socaliscorpio
CLEARLY it is Bree Van DeKamp!!!!
Ryan
Justin, played by Ryan Carnes was always my favorite!

Mrs. Heuber was hilarious – loved when she would black mail everyone, especially Susan. well because, Susan sucks. Sad she was killed off so early! [email protected]

Felisha Tilman FTW! “I’m gonna make you some pudding!” [email protected]

Gabby, from the very first episode when she mowed the lawn in her evening gown. She was always so hilarious! [email protected]

I will always love Gabby. I secretly always wanted her life lol [email protected]

Bree Van DeKamp hands down, hated her overbearing perfectionist attitude at first but, then became wildly addicted to it.

Bree Van DeKamp.
She is what I would honestly want to be. I want to be that housewife gay. It’s weird but to raise to pretty great kids, and have the life that everyone loves. Even though she has problems, I think we all have our own. She’s my character. I feel connected to her.

I heart Bree Van de Kamp — perfect on the outside and teetering on the edge inside.

Bree for sure. Nobody could ever live up to her tight, obsessive personality. [email protected]

My favorite housewife was Lynette. Two words. “Ding dong.”

My house husband would be Tom, but my affair would have been with John Rowland. Of course.

My favorite was Mrs. Mckluskey. Kathryn Joosten was excellent because she made an initially utterly annoying character loveable and someone you cared for. Forget Renee, katharine or Edie, Mrs Mckluskey was truly the 5th desperate housewife. She put her husband in the basement freezer for Christ sake! Thanks for the opportunity. [email protected]

Despite me loving the core four and other miscellaneous characters, my favorite is Mary Alice Young. It all started with her; the mystery, the friendships between the girls, and her omniprescence throughout the seasons tie up the show nicely. My email address: [email protected]

Without a doubt, my favorite character was Lynette. She was strong in the face of so much pain, maintained a good sense of humor and heart and was a great friend. Whether it was the restaurant disaster or Tom’s infidelity, she handled herself with an overall grace that some of us can only dream of.

Bree of course!

Gabby is my fave!

My favorite character was John Rowland, played by Jesse Metcalfe! You have my email.

Jackson Braddock. Gale Harold was the only reason I ever watched DH.

Brie…half ice-cold, porcelain goddess bitch, half badass. The best of the housewives by a mile. [email protected]

Gabrielle Solis. The fiery Latina is just the right amount funny yet serious. Girl has been through alot! From two cheating scandals, to a blind husband, to a “switched at birth” storyline. Yet even until the end she would find a way to make me laugh each and every episode.

Gaby Solis! True, she could be such a spoiled brat but she learned lessons from it every time and her never-ending humor kept me in stitches.

What, not a word about Mike Delfino, the hunky plumber? All the craziness swirling around him made his solid DILF charm stand out even more. [email protected]

Mrs. McCluskey was by far my favorite character on Wisteria Lane.
gabe_pro
Bree Van de Kamp! Prefect and icy on the outside but warm and a mess on the inside

As entertaining as the show is/was,
I am blessed that I am not stupid or
desperate enough to buy this worthless
swag.

While Andrew was always a great character, it was watching him that caused me to fall in love with Bree Van De Kamp. Marcia Cross played her beautifully, and I felt like Bree always had the best lines, the best character development, and avoided becoming a cliche of herself a bit better than the other 3 wives did.
Anthony
Of course… the one… the only… Bree Van de Kamp! During her alcoholic phase, Bree never drank alone… I was usually enjoying a glass of wine right along with her.
