From the depths of rural Kentucky comes a story that only gets stranger as it unravels.
Youth pastor Rex Allen Murphy of the Polly Ann Church of God has been arrested and accused of raping a 16-year-old boy he met in the Sunday school class he taught.
But Murphy also claims to be “from a family of warlocks,” and threatened to use said warlock powers to kill the boy if he ever told.
Murphy also told police that he was using his powers to cure the boy of his “battle with homosexuality because he, too, had experimented with homosexuality.”
The abuse went on for a period of six months, allegedly taking place in the church and at the suspect’s home.
Colin Hatfield, chief of Eubank police, describes the accusations as “very graphic and to the point.”
“The victim stated that the suspect told him on numerous occasions that by brushing his skin or shaking his hand…he could tell his sins by the power he has. He was very scared, because the suspect, in the victim’s eyes, had been threatening his life in the form of Wicca, witchcraft, black magic.”
“There is no reason to believe any abuse occurred on church grounds,” a spokesman for the church said to reassurance of absolutely no one.
Police are conducting an investigation into the possibility of additional victims.

And once again, if somebody is an anti-gay religious conservative there seems to be a very good chance that they are either a sex offender or a crazy self hating closet case or, if they are straight, most likely a rapist or a serial adulterer.
So basically a good way to find mentally ill sex offenders is to look for anybody anti-gay.

He has to be setting himself up for an insanity defense, or maybe he needs to be vanquished by the Charmed Ones.

Sounds like that spokesman himself could have been an accomplice since the article states no one believes him. The shit being preached from the pulpit to the ignorant everywhere is abuse enough. Strange things happen in rural America. Its no wonder why the majority of the armed forces are made up of young males trying to escape the clutches of areas like this, though they claim patriotism is why in order to protect the ignorant left behind.

Ugh… and yet WE’RE the sick ones!

When I see headlines like this, I play a game with myself to see if I can locate the state or region in which it occurred, and seldom I am wrong. I start with west of the Delaware River and south of the Mason Dixon line. Sorry, I don’t mean to insult anybody who comes from areas within those parameters, but where the Bible culture is greater than the civic one, there are just more possibilities for hypocricy from rogue ” Christians”.

The religious profession is a hiding place for all kinds of lunatics, sex maniacs, closet cases, pedophiles and sexually repressed people. Some of them are harmless, some are very dangerous. But almost all of them are working against us and in favor of prejudice, bigotry and discrimination.
Religion serves as an excuse for all kinds of prejudice and injustice. “My religion tells me I must act like this”, it is the bigot’s excuse.
The church is a convenient and safe place for these sick people, and they are always protected, no matter WHAT they do.

Another Bible thumping nut case for Geezus.

@Saint Law: If he’s a warlock, then his magic wand must be extraordinary also.

@Billy Budd: You got that right, I knew a man who was raised Baptist but converted to the Catholic faith and then joined the priesthood because he couldn’t come to terms with being gay. And that was right out of High School! He must have really been f@cked up!

Your comment reminds me of the sick shit I read about that went on during the Crusades. It is hard to believe the men who tied ropes around the tits of women and placed them on that device called the rack that stretched them until they accepted Geezus were not turned on sexually. The same went for other sick shit such as sticking things up the rectums of the Indians in Central and South America, forcing them to stop worshiping what we ALL know NOW is the life giving sun and instead accepting Geezus as a savior. It is obvious what the sun does and its importance to man versus the lies from the mouth of those claiming a god told them so spread those lies of how you should live your life.
I bet ol’ Geezus is rolling over in his grave every night (no, I don’t believe that B/S for one minute a man who was obviously dead got “resurrected”) at the things being attributed to him for the sexual and financial fantasies and gains of hypocrites who prey on the ignorant, or true believers, take your pick.

I must admit, this is slightly atypical compared to the usual homophobic religitards. This wacko is an original.

@tdh1980: Thanks for the laugh, that was funny.
You would think most Warlocks would have more on their minds than sexual assault.

It’s funny christians like Pat Buchanan are always talking about gays being out to destroy their religion. No army of gays could do more to make their religion look like a bag of idiotic cat poop than they do themselves. They come up with the stupider things than any gay could ever imagine.
Maude
Our credibility would go a lot farther, if we didn’t make up our own facts as we go along.
It’s the presence of the ‘Christian Gays’ molesting, and raping in Christianity that Pat Buchanan says are “out to destroy their religion”.
They may not be “Out to destroy” it, but by their sexual conduct they’re doing a job of it anyway.
The “army of Gays” already in the religion is where the “bag of idiotic cat poop”
is coming from….The stupidity lies not so much in their conduct as it does in your low-information, utterly incoherent, disjointed stupid remarks.
