Anderson Cooper Informs Pat Robertson’s Followers That You Cannot, In Fact, Get AIDS From A Towel

If you are one of the thousands dozen or so of Pat Robertson’s followers who is now terrified of traveling “overseas” for fear of contracting HIV/AIDS while using a towel, let Anderson Cooper offer you some peace of mind. The host of CNN’s AC 360 used all that convenient scientific knowledge that often eludes Robertson and his ilk to again make the world a safe place to enjoy authentic Italian gelato.

“Just to be clear, if, like Pat Robertson, you somehow missed all the evidence, all the research, the depth and breadth of all the knowledge garnered about HIV and AIDS over the past three decades, you cannot get HIV if you share towels,” Cooper said.

Just beware of visiting San Francisco, Cooper cautions. “Because that’s of course where all the gay people live and Pat Robertson thinks they have an ingenious way of giving you ‘the stuff.'”
