Ben Affleck’s Oscar-nominated thriller dramatizes how CIA operative Tony Mendez infiltrated Iran during the hostage crisis to rescue six Americans hiding in the Canadian ambassador’s home using a fake sci-fi movie project. The fact that this all really happened gives the film an added layer of absurdity. Incredible performances, outrageous period haircuts and alternately tense and humorous chapters contribute to one of 2012′s best films. Extras include a director’s commentary, a full-length 2005 documentary on the “Canadian Caper,” and a picture-in-picture experience featuring firsthand accounts from Agent Mendez, President Carter and others involved with the operation.
North Sea Texas does not take place in Texas..It’s one of the best gay movies I’ve seen this year…I love it, it has an awesome surprise ending. Great actors and great direction make for a sizzling movie!
