What the nuptials between Tiwonge Chimbalanga and Steven Monjeza — in a country where homosexuality is a crime — may represent, however, is the most public same-sex wedding there to date. It also follows a round of gay knot tying in Uganda, which is on the verge of out doing Malawi in punishing gays.
