LIVING ON A PRAYER

Michele Bachmann-Endorsed Event Compares Homosexuality To Terrorism

Michele-Bachmann-20601017-2-402Ole crazy eyes is back. A faith-based event called the 9/11 Day of Prayer and Fasting (seriously!), the brainchild of religious zealot Joseph Farah, which has naturally received the full support of failed GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann.

One reason Farah thinks the country needs a day devoted to prayer is to help all the LGBT rights advocates who seek to “make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.” If only.

He writes:

The U.S. continues its slide from moral malaise to cultural hedonism that makes the late 1960s look like the 1950s by comparison, as support for “same-sex marriage” grows, the horrors of the “abortion on demand” crusade are revealed in a Philadelphia courtroom sans media coverage and an epidemic of sex abuse against children by schoolteachers, clergy and scoutmasters is not only ignored but results in capitulation by the Boy Scouts of America to the demands of those who would make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.

Farah’s other paranoid musings include:

For days that seemed like weeks, the systematically disarmed residents of the Boston and Cambridge area cowered in their homes and hid in their closets in fear of one armed and dangerous terrorist presumed to have been involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Nice way to milk a national tragedy, Farah.

Considering her track record with LGBT equality, it’s no surprise that Bachmann issued a statement of support for the event.

It reads in part: “As we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, we can take assurance from the Holy Scripture that God has promised to hear from heaven, will forgive our sin, and will heal our land.”

You just know that her hubby Marcus is behind this. Anything that’ll let him get down on his knees…
