Michele Bachmann-Endorsed Event Compares Homosexuality To Terrorism

Michele-Bachmann-20601017-2-402Ole crazy eyes is back. A faith-based event called the 9/11 Day of Prayer and Fasting (seriously!), the brainchild of religious zealot Joseph Farah, which has naturally received the full support of failed GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann.

One reason Farah thinks the country needs a day devoted to prayer is to help all the LGBT rights advocates who seek to “make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.” If only.

He writes:

The U.S. continues its slide from moral malaise to cultural hedonism that makes the late 1960s look like the 1950s by comparison, as support for “same-sex marriage” grows, the horrors of the “abortion on demand” crusade are revealed in a Philadelphia courtroom sans media coverage and an epidemic of sex abuse against children by schoolteachers, clergy and scoutmasters is not only ignored but results in capitulation by the Boy Scouts of America to the demands of those who would make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.

Farah’s other paranoid musings include:

For days that seemed like weeks, the systematically disarmed residents of the Boston and Cambridge area cowered in their homes and hid in their closets in fear of one armed and dangerous terrorist presumed to have been involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Nice way to milk a national tragedy, Farah.

Considering her track record with LGBT equality, it’s no surprise that Bachmann issued a statement of support for the event.

It reads in part: “As we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, we can take assurance from the Holy Scripture that God has promised to hear from heaven, will forgive our sin, and will heal our land.”

You just know that her hubby Marcus is behind this. Anything that’ll let him get down on his knees…

She is a violent radical lunatic. Exactly the type of person who should be arrested and executed. She is a direct threat to millions of people in America and needs to be dealt with.

There is no difference between what she says and what any imam says in any islamic nation. None, literally zero.

Michelle’s image of the past differs from mine. Child pornography was sold openly in mom-and-pop stores, there were riots in major cities, cocaine was “safer than booze,” and there were whole religions devoted to promiscuity. And everyone knew the name of the town doctor that would prescribe a D&C for “menstrual irregularity.” Somebody send that creature a “Mad Men” boxed set.

Y’all need a change of perspective. Yes, Michelle Bachmann and her ilk are terrible, heinous people whose only real contribution to the human race is converting oxygen into carbon dioxide. Nevertheless, their extreme views and hate mongering continue to alienate rational, thinking people. Honestly, people like her are responsible for the the current state of LGBT rights. If religious wackos like her hadn’t pushed the issue, marriage equality wouldn’t be where it is today.

Excellent observations. I know about child porn being easily available in the newstands back then.

Oh… don’t be such a fed-up guy. These kinds of stories help keep us on our toes about what and who are those who don’t appreciate us.

@Billysees: if you stayed informed on gay culture in America and the politics surrounding it you would have learned all you need to know about this person during the Republican primaries… last year

      @kingkuy: 9

I “thoroughly” appreciate your feelings about this hateful conservative.

She and her equivalents make me sick.

I do remember the primaries, and all of the mean spirited rhetoric coming forth from many in that party.

And yes, she is definitely a WBC type.

But nothing is to be served being unhappy with Queerty so that you wanna pack up and leave.

Look at all the good this news and article-service does for our community.

We can at least tolerate the stuff that angers us cause it doesn’t deserve attention.
